Christmas came early for me. Got it back from the sign shop today and installed it as soon as i got home
Well done
Thats good to know, thank you! Ive been using the Tru Blu and its worked out great but i do have a small leak in my softwash wand. Its also partially because i know for a fact that one area wasnt tightened all the way. Just so it could be lined up properly but i need to fix it anyway so ill definitely pick this up.
Looks great!
Thank you!
@SESclean very well laid out build and I really like the effort put into this trailer, I would suggest that some of the welds get redone for safety/longevity. I build my own rollcages for my drag cars and first thing I look at on any trailer is the welding this split stuck out like a sore thumb. Donāt mean to discourage you just pointing out something you might not be aware of
Thats the best color combo for sharp contrast, makes things pop, no problem reading the name at all.
You right, a couple of weld issues but nothing a little attention wonāt fix, you caught my attention when u mentioned welding your own cages for your drag cars , what you running atm @MuscleMyHustle
@AUSSIE I mess with a lot of import stuff currently race an rx3 with a slapped together 13b at the moment when itās not broken have done 9.30s in it. Also have VL commodore thatās getting a matoouks racing Billet RB30 built that should be good for 1800hp. Iāve had various other circuit cars and rally cars over the years.
Niice, I would love to run a drag car one day itās a bucket list item for sure!!
Iām playing around with off road SXS at the moment which is a load of fun.
I might need a few pointers on cage making in the near future as our crew are getting to the stage of probably needing them.
@AUSSIE drag racing is great fun, I love building obnoxiously overpowered cars that I know will never drive straight . My father has 2017 Polaris ranger 500, there awesome little things Iāve hinted at the idea of putting a turbo hayabusa engine in and got a funny look as if he wanted to slap me across the head . What do you do with your SxS? General hooning in the bushes?
Generally thatās the go, sorta pretending to rally.
Doin a few jumps though lately and now we are on the verge of pushing up some custom ramps but still debating about approach and departure /arrival / break the machine angles etc.
We have the earthmoving machines so I guess we just need to bite the bullet and have a crackā¦
I also love the idea of a turbo busa in any frame full stop . Ya father just hasnāt done it yet lol
@AUSSIE that on private land? We have bugger all places to off-road near by over here without getting the council called, we just hit the sand dunes on the local beaches. I have an old Kawasaki kx500 2stroke with paddle tires we often take out and try come home with no broken limbs. Actual tracks are getting closed one by one due to people just trashing the place with rubbish, sad sight to see.
I appreciate the information for sure! The company who i bought the trailer from also welded the ladder rack and the welds are pretty ugly looking but i will say its pretty strong because i messed with when i first picked it up from them.
Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but what is a split weld? Those cross beams are welded onto the frame and the frame is not split. Im not sure if thats what you were referring too or not though lol
Thats excactly what i was going for. I wanted something nice and bright going down the road that would make people look twice at my truck and trailer
@SESclean I circled it in the picture above, zoom in, you can clearly see the crack where the weld is. Looking at the weld and how the split is from top to bottom I would assume your trailer has plenty of flex, and that crack developed from pulling hose off the hose reel mounted above it. Hose reels arenāt light either. I also have a question for you, why did you weld the hose reel to the trailer? Instead of conventionally bolting it for later date servicing/replacement.
Really need to secure the tank before you drive around with it
@MuscleMyHustle
Plenty of vacant land and beaches to run around here our council is pretty much non existent out where I live.
2 stroke KX500 with paddles equals me in plaster for extended period of time, im not allowed to ride moto anymore no matter what i say at the time lol
