The Gold Standard Gen 2 DS Injector has ARRIVED!

Do you have a tracking number for my order? My Name is Nick shih-hsieh. I absolutely despise that Shop app that is used to follow the order.

No problem Nick, I just sent tracking from Pitney Bowes

Got it. Thank you very much

Got it delivered today, looks great - Thank you. One question, is this thing directional like a regular injector?

Yes, they are directional. DS Injectors will always flow into the injector nozzle and out of the tapered cone.

Awesome thank you

Thank you, it has been a labor of love

@dperez Curious, how does your GSG2 injector compare to say the the Envirospec Super Suds Sucker? I’d like the option of pulling a very strong downstream mix, and the SSS claims a 30% draw without force feeding - which honestly sounds like hogwash to me but it also seems like X-jet territory - so maybe I’m wrong?

Thanks in advance.

It is.

Pa always said never trust a Hogwallop.

Sorry for the delay, I thought I sent a reply on this then I got slammed. The Gold Standard Injector pulls just as well as the SSS. A side note that you may not be aware of is the two are the only ones I know of that can still pull using 430 plus feet of hose. Where the GS excels is getting you a very similar dilution ratio as the SSS while eliminating the problematic spring and o-ring seal. The GS has no spring and the ceramic ball seals against a thick machined seat made with an engineering plastic.

Looks pretty cool. I typically use the General Pump hi-draw brass injector. Why should I switch to yours? Honest question. Give an answer I think is good and I’ll place an order. Lol.

Sir you’ve reached the Engineering dept. Let me get you over to sales lol

I don’t have any formal education in this field. I’m not so full of myself that I can think for one second I beat out teams of engineers with this design. My belief is other injector designs are engineered to fail often so they can sell it to you over and over again. The Gold Standard was engineered with no other goal than to increase reliability! It has proven itself out as a success.

I’ve found that there are many who carry 4 injectors around at a time and purchase over $300 worth of $15 brass injectors a season. And I’ve found many who are tired of the constant battle keeping them working. You can find a few who have luck with them but don’t be fooled as they are outliers. The “General” concensus is they suck and it’s not a professional product.

So i’ve recognized myself in the 20 x15$ injectors per season guy. Until this year where i switched to the Gold Standard. I’ve used it all year with no issues at all except the colored reducers, one broke while removing the ds hose the first time. So buy it, but order an extra set of the reducers. The injector itself is very reliable in my experience. Time saver.

Thanks for the information! What is the default draw rate if I put no reducer in the barb?

EDIT: Never mind, I found it on the website!

@PMG I really appreciate your feedback and thank you so much for the kind words.

So far, so good here Dez, keeps belting out the sauce. I installed it on a bypass and works fine.
