The Best HP Hose?

Tired of blowouts, I seek the brain trust’s recommendations for the best high-pressure hose on the market and maybe the best place to buy. I bought the compression ends for both the 1 wire and 2 wire hoses, but putting lipstick on a pig doesn’t necessarily change the pig. A crappy hose will find another place to blow more times than not. Recommendations???

I only have about 15 hours on mine from the hose company, but so far so good!

Gotta find a company with good rubber. That’s what makes a hose last .

2 wire and flow actuated unloader will get you some time before it bursts. Hoses that last the longest are the ones that sit on the trailer in the driveway.

Hose company, text Scott and he’ll send you an invoice for whatever you need. Had mine for 4-5 months now and no issues with heavy use

The place in Canada @Innocentbystander recommended got me an awesome gray, 2 wire, non marking with stainless fittings under $380 out the door shipped to California. Some say they went up in price but it’s thicker than my 2 wire whip and feels substantial. I recommend it.

@Seandz For how many feet? I’m just starting to price things out

200’. Add a 6’ whip hose to attach to the end to extend the life of your big one.

I had my 1 wire pop three times last year, every time it was within 15’ of the end.

Yeah I’ve read a lot of guys use like a 200’ and a 50’ and usually just have to replace the 50’ section. Wondering if 6’ whip would be long enough. Would definitely be nice to only have to replace a 6’ hose than 50’

I’m sick of 2 wire, it’s just too heavy to drag around and reel up. HOWEVER, I should probably get 2 wire for my Landa Hot Box. I had another stink in’ hose pop on my machine with the k7 unloader today. GEEZ! I’ll bet that hose didn’t last 3 months. SO, Brand of hose? Is the Goodyear hose better? Any Brand recommendations out there guys?

Goodyear sucks, at least in my experience. 2 wire is heavy but at least lasts. Plus the stuff from the place in Canada is thicker than the 2 wire whip I have. Feels legit!

The reason to have a 6’ whip is all the bending you do on the gun side. 3’ would be enough but 6 seems standard

I use the Goodyear 1 wire from Pressuretek. I get 1 and a half to 2 seasons from a hose. The 2 wire (I don’t use anymore) I was getting 3 seasons easy but I agree they are heavy.

@MrSparkleVA Looks like @marinegrunt has found the place to go for hose.
