Repaint it. Or order a new hot tub.
I need new glasses or something, where is the test?
The smears on the bottle left corner
Not even oxalic?
If you replace the hot tub let me know. I’ve been looking for a good deal on one.
You guys are so dramatic
Ok so my next question, why were you trying to bleach that hot tub? What % were you using?
It was a test spot. I was an idiot. It was like 90+ outside and it flash dried
What percentage and why? I’ve cleaned tons of houses with hot tubs, sprayed hw mix all over them and the covers, never been an issue. They are made to be outside in the sun
Like 4 or 5%. Why did I test it? I am pretty new to this, so I don’t know how certain stuff reacts. If you mean why is the percentage so high, it’s because so I know for certain house wash mix won’t do anything.
why did you need 4-5% on anything in that area. not talking smack just curious. Been at this for a little and have not used that high on anything brother. At least haven’t had to yet. I know some surfaces can handle that but even dirty concrete out here I use house wash strength and combination of pre treat, dwell time, and sometimes post treat never had to go super hot.
With every single post this kid makes, I’m more and more confident he’s trolling… if he’s not trolling and is actually out there doing these things to peoples property and collecting money, he needs to stop that immediately and do a lot more research before anything else.
Yea I was about to call out AI
What other posts have I made you think I am trolling? I am actually trying to learn.
I was told to go that high so you can me certain a 1% doesn’t affect it. I will stop from now on
I’m actually curious, what have I posted that makes you think I’m that much of an idiot? I admit, this was pretty dumb
Every question you’ve posted could have been answered through a simple search on this forum or Google. I’ll give you credit for researching artillery fungus and seeking reassurance on that, as well as finding a replacement mailbox if the job went wrong.
You post-treat at 3% but skip pretreatment.
You believe 2K psi can etch driveways.
You think testing surfaces at 4-5% is a good practice.
You tested on a 90+ degree day without being prepared to rinse it off.
You were unsure if spraying bleach on edible plants was safe.
I’m not saying you’re an idiot; those aren’t my words. However, many of the mistakes and issues you have encountered could easily be avoided with a bit of reading and research on this forum and some common sense. You’ve been a member here for less than a month with only 2 hours of read time. It seems like you go out on a job, make a mistake, and then come here seeking a fix. My advice is to pause what you’re doing and start reading more to learn about the proper chemicals, ratios, and techniques for different surfaces.
“3% but skip pretreatment.” There are people I follow on YouTube that do this and found success. I have found success with it for months until recently, that’s the reason for my post.
“You believe 2K psi can etch driveways.” I didn’t believe 2K psi could etch driveways. I admit the first picture wasn’t etching. However, in the past, I was getting lines that looked almost exactly like etching, so that’s why I asked.
“You think testing surfaces at 4-5%” I’ll give you this. However, I’ve never seen info on what I should’ve been using. I heard the 4-5% from someone on facebook. I shouldn’t have followed that.
“You tested on a 90+ degree day without being prepared to rinse it off.” This is a mistake. There is a heat wave right now, and 90% of the time it’s cloudy and overcast where I live.
“You were unsure if spraying bleach on edible plants was safe.” You really thought I thought it was okay lol? I was more so asking what precautions people take. I didn’t want to poison their food supply.
I made my account on here a month ago, but I’ve been on here since January, with no account. That’s when I did most of my reading. I’ve researched on YouTube and Facebook frequently. You don’t have to believe me, (and I know you won’t), but that is what I do and have been doing. Sometimes, I want clarification on things, and people on YouTube, Facebook, and Google are not the most reliable.
It’s really not that deep. I’m not a master, and I want to learn from people I know somewhat know what they are talking about. For you to say I haven’t researched just because I still don’t know entirely what I’m doing is wrong. Looking up something on Google or on here doesn’t make you a professional instantly. It can definitely help you, but I’m not going to be perfect right away. No hard feelings.
ive found the ones Ive encountered are wood. Id be inclined to rub some murphys soap on it and rinse just to see what it looks like. Im thinking the lightened splotchy corner panel is the one you mean to describe?
