You’re dead on, just bought a new Fatboy 7 GPM and with the slightest breeze it’s performing at 35’ consistently but can reach over 40’.
I just hooked up 3/4" proportioner on my 7 gpm Fatboy and fully charged it reaches 35’ consistently but can reach close to 45’ with no breeze at all. I removed a couple 90 degree elbows and replaced with straight barbs also. I tested flow rate and it is exactly at 3.5 GPM after 200" of 1/2" hose if not just barely under. I have to say I’m feeling good about the setup and look forward to using it this year. Keep in mind the 45’ is not consistent but a lucky distance now and then you’d risk a lot of runoff trying to get that distance on a roof.

Ground level so you’d be nowhere near 45’ two stories up. We’ve all had that spot that was just out of reach but we knew we could hit it eventually just worried about too much runoff haha
