Soft wash pump

@Racer

so you recommend, with what I have. reducing the length of hose?

So do you recommend the 1/2 hose on 12v soft wash systems @Racer

Idk what the issue was. I checked all the connections. turned back on and I finished roof and house without loss of pressure. im baffled :man_shrugging:

Sounds like your pump isn’t priming properly. Do you have aMother pump you can test?

I use same pump with 200 ft and have no problems up on two story roofs spraying

Is it primed?

1/2” works fine on 12v

Yes, for sure

I did some research on priming pumps. my understanding is that you turn on and hold open nozzle until no more air comes out.
I will start using my ball valve correctly now. To maintain the water in the line, and make priming easier. Im definitely more aware of what it is now. I think that may have been the issue.

Great, hope it works out!

Those everflos are self priming I know, it’s weird that yours isnt

Self priming doesn’t always mean they prime. Sometimes they just need a little liquid in the pump to get them going. You can see the mix pulling a few feet into the pickup hose but that’s it. Once you force a little water to get inside it takes off. I use to just take a hose and force water into the end of the wand to get it going. I now have a 3 way that connects to the bottom of my buffer tank that I can turn in order to get water to help prime. I also use that to flush.

Gotcha maybe I’m just lucky with my pumps then! I’ve never had a problem with them priming
