Thank you again racer, always a pleasure to read your replies in threads. I have bookmarked many of your posts.
Yup, just did a large 2 1/2 story metal roof and the owner said the first companyâs pump couldnât reach halfway up the second story. I asked it they were using a gas engine or air compressor and he said they were using a battery pump
Whatâs up fellas!
@garry.cooper this is why Iâm trying to decide if I want a truck first or an air compressor pump. I want a perportioner so not gas. It wonât be a small pump either.
Edit- I hate almost everything about my 12v other than it paid for itself right away and allowed me to kind of expand my services.
I literally hate the cycling noise of the AODD pumps⌠I would literally quit washing if I had to listen to that all the time. But thatâs just me. Plus Iâve never seen one that shot any further than my 12v.
Hard to hear it over the GC160
GC 200 and it only runs at 50% throttle. Itâs the weird chugging sound that gets me. Itâs just one of those things
Even the larger 17+gpm pumps? (Assuming you put a smaller tip in to get the proper pressure) I know you donât get the full gpm at pressure, but the larger ones can have a nice output. From my understanding most companies donât due to space, but I really want the volume of gas with a perportioner dang it!
So youâre 12v shoots 40-50 feet from 2 stories peak?
