Back in my day, you could run a Pontiac Grand Am on Bacardi. Heck, you could probably downstream it & get decent results. It was hot stuff! I guess times have changed but you got Patron these days, lucky you!

They can sit there & collect dust. I got a good engine for cheap with a replacement warranty. But maybe next time if they aren’t too rusty by then. I missed a few good deals on the classifieds but no regrets at the end of the day. If it works, send it!
Im pretty sure they wont be collecting dust. Unless we go into another Great Recession situation
Sounds like they are already collecting dust if they’re sitting in shipping containers. But anything above a GX610 has been off the radar for awhile. I have some great running GX390’s in my garage. They are fabulous but just don’t have the punch needed for anything above 4gpm.
If you say so. 630 or 690 is pretty standard. Hes got 800s running 12gpm. Ill try to barter with him when i buy mine on account of dust collecting. Lol. He would probably ask me to leave the store and i wouldn’t disagree with him
Shaft size is a big deal here. (That’s what sheee… nevermind) but a 630 is typically a 1 inch diameter & a 690 is 1-1/8 inch so they’re not all entirely interchangeable all the time. Other components need to match up obviously. By the way you won’t catch me knocking your rig. If everything on my trailer craps out on Monday, I’ll be running a GX390 with a gp4040ez on Tuesday without missing a beat. That’s my foundation & still the Ace up my sleeve. But I don’t regret upgrading & highly recommend it!
“Golfer” would be a massive stretch…played in an outing with the local ball team we sponsor 2 weeks ago, first time in 10-15 years. I used to play quite a bit when I was in construction though, we had all sorts of corporate memberships. More into fishing for relaxation these days.

Golfer?
To be a good golfer is definitely a skill that many are very envious of. Theres alot of different ways of going about it and its just you against the course. My left knee hates me from golfing. I also love the surroundings! Trees, grass, wildlife, beer cart girls
No I mean why is it called ‘golfer’ instead of ‘golfball player’.
