Im pro reclaim. I hate the fact that people are putting acids and hazardous waste down drains and into of environment. Ive been talking to some uamcc guys. I didnt really understand what harm people are really doing.
Does anyone else think reclaim laws should be nation wide?

The uamcc and Robert hinderlighter wrote up bmp’s to shop to cities that state no water can go down any drain and that hot water is an emulsifier. Washing a sidewalk with cold water and the water running down a drain is no different than it rain on the sidewalk. Reclaim laws are nation wide. No where in the CWA is the terminology “nothing but rain down the drain”, guess which vendor started that slogan 30 years ago? I don’t want acid and chemicals down drains either, but that is not what this is about.
