Had a customer from last year inquire about this when I get back from road trip.
Why do I get all the weird stuff.

Because you live in the land of weird stuff…?
Light it up and get er done
Dear diary,
Today a real estate agent absolutely boned me for my roof minimum when I showed up to clean this. Did a quote over the phone while away at sea and she said it “…isn’t too bad…just needs a little touchup before open house tomorrow.”
I usually give a thank you gift of a bottle of patron for real estate agents but Im debating sending this one anthrax. I honored the minimum but will be doing estimates in person only from now on
If you can’t quote it in person always have them send you pictures. Real estate agents are notorious for always waiting till the last minute to book services for showings. I charge them double when they do that.
That last minute booking was kind of my fault. I was away for 2 weeks. I worked from 000 to 0600, came home, took a nap until 0800 and knocked out 3 estimates. Along the way I came across a house for sale and thought to myself “wow. That’s would be a pain for some poor sucker to clean. Hope they get their money’s worth.” As I drove by only to come to the realization that that was the house I had to do in about 45 minutes
Year 2 has kicked off! Lets keep these roofs coming!
Hope your minimum is about $1500.
Complain all you want to!
If a person who worked a 12 hour day listened to a guy complaining about having to work a 10 hour day…cant they both be tired?
I see these roofs and get excited. One, its $$$…Two, I get to show them off to you guys! Thats half the reason why i even accept them in most cases. I feel like a fraud on here so feel like making some of you guys cringe with these rowdy pics makes me almost feel legitimate
Nope, not doing any of that…we’ll kill it, but it stays until it’s ready to let go naturally…don’t even offer to pull it for a premium anymore.
YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS…
Tried to complete the 2nd roof but not enough time in the day. Completely removed all the gross stuff though. Need to shoot SH, brush, rinse, and collect that check. Will have pics of it clean for you folks in about a week.
It’s been very dry here so this was kind of a breeze. The house in the back is getting done too. Had a Dr appointment to go to so had to lose a chunk of the day to that. Finished garage roof and got on top of house roof and saw a magic carpet.
Looks great! Lot of excavation there….
You’re going to fast become our ‘go to’ expert on metal roof cleaning, you keep this up.
Ironically, metal roofs are my least favorite thing to clean because of the inherent danger. Also they are the biggest challenge for me weather wise because of how much it rains here and how much moisture these roofs hold underneath even on dry days. Add to that there’s usually nowhere convenient/possible to tie off on half of them and it’s just no bueno. If y’all knew how much I was charging for these you’d probably puke and move up here and put me out of business.
The method I have been working on has been getting more efficient and maybe after this summer I’ll do a write up on how to clean a metal roof with as little of a chance to die as possible
This thread has me wondering if I could go dig up the lawn & find a shiny clean roof under there.
One good before/after picture. I was sick of being up there and it was a long day but it’s done. It’s clean. And they were super thrilled with my work. Even bought me a 6 pack of pacifico for the road. Goodbye moss. They last cleaned it 11 years ago. I told them I’ll see them in a decade
Yearly agreement - 1/2 off - maybe take you 1/10th the time next year!
Beautiful wilderness in the background. One of the places i would like to visit.
