Davis Shooter Tip Holders right?

Yes they are
Both 8/4 do DS .
Comparing them to a 0040 tip
The 8 shoots about 5ft further, and the 4 about 15 ft further.
So 10ft difference between the 8 and the 4

I have both as well. Kyle is a good dude. He’s making basically M5DS tips now. I can’t wait to try them out.

Met him yesterday.
Cool dude.
Likes Lori as well…:+1:

Can you post your results with the m5ds tip of his once you try it out? This is cheaper than the m5ds I just bought.

Your running an 8 gpm unit and using his 8 shooter tip correct? You get 5 more feet of reach with a tighter stream?

Yes.
My back up is a 4gpm
The 4 tip givrs me about 15ft more than a 0040
I always buy for both machines just in case.

thank you

I run an 8 and 5.5. I need to test his tips. I use the guy Blackmon shooter tip but have his 8 and 4 shooter tips as well.

Me too!

How are you guys switching between soaping and rinsing with these tips? We run 4K 4 GPM machines and use 0040 for high soap and 0010 for high rinse.

I use the same nozzle to soap as I do to rinse.

I shut off my injector. Same tips for soap and rinse

Change tips .
Or shut down feed

What tip are you changing to to shut off the soap? Do they have a separate soap shooter and a rinse shooter?

I understand using only one tip and shutting of the injector when rinsing. I guess the disadvantage would have to be running back to the truck or using a remote controller.

Sorry if I am misunderstanding how these shooters are designed to work…

how long you been in business?

I don’t rinse above 100psi so that I don’t knock off oxidation or cause other problems. Using a high pressure tip to stop my injector would be a bad idea. I kind of like the trip back to the truck because I like to see that the equipment is still running properly and there’s not a massive leak somewhere. Plus I’m putting on a little bit of a gut lately; a little more excercise doesn’t hurt

Been in business around 10 years. We run a truck with two 4 gpm machines. Mostly house washes and residential concrete. We downstream and have used the 4 way J rod from pressure tek since the beginning to soap and rinse high and low.
