She's alive!

Ya, I’m happy with it so far… the flow is insane, bucket test was over 10gpm on a 8gpm udor… I dialed the RPM back a little, sitting right @ 1400 pump RPM right now. The heat cranked up burns my hand if I touch fittings, overall I think it’s going to make some $$$.

Very nice! You’re definitely getting good reach. I guarantee it’ll make you money.

Did you do the bucket test with a nozzle set for your pump’s max psi? If it’s a 8 gpm/3500 psi you have to put a nozzle in that gets you the 3500 psi. That’s how you accurately check flow. With larger orifices your machine isn’t producing max psi so it’s able to gain some flow. I just wanted to bring it to your attention so you’re not thinking you’re getting 10 gpm when running a surface cleaner and choose nozzles according to that flow. Now, if you bucket test with the max psi nozzle and, you’re still getting 10 gpm, then that’s what you’re actually getting at max psi.

Ahh, you’re right, I did it wrong. I need to order an 8.5 tip, I just used the 4 2s in the surface cleaner to set the unloader. Thanks!

That probably got you close enough on the unloader. I was just commenting more on the bucket test. If you haven’t done so yet I would order some different tips for your surface cleaner to lower the pressure some. Number two’s might be a little too much pressure.

Got some 025s about to put in, needed to use the 02s to set the unloader. Just got a couple of 50s ordered and an 085 on the way too, thanks to some old posts from you guys.
