Sh from walmart

Pool essentials, looked last night and its out of stock online. Didnt find amy stores stocking any. Ill have to go look at other marts to verify still. But no go online.

I talked to a rep when he was making a delivery one day. Even in an area where wm wouldn’t stock it they should still be able to get deliveries to store. And he was under the impression you can buy from them directly.

Sodium Hypochlorite is Sodium Hypochlorite.
Doesn’t matter what “brand name” they put on it or whether they call it “pool shock” or “bleach” its all still Sodium Hypochlorite diluted to different strengths. 20% 15% 12.5% 10% 6%.
Ive used all but the 20%
All the same. Just dilute it less as the strength goes down.
Regular 6% just downstream it straight.

Yes I know add water % goes down. Degradation % goes down. So my question is how diluted and degraded do you think that more expensive bottle of 5% is by the time it hits your hand?

I have no idea?
Not real sure what your getting to?

I just told the guy if all he can find for now is Wal-Mart Bleach then use it. It works fine. I’ve used a ton of it. Sucks having to but I’ve been there.

I just bought a case at roughly under $6ea. 12.5 to 15% he says. The main reason for better bleach is for less washing per job. Im going to try some things as mentioned DS straight sh, worth a try.

The DUDES chem Shop and PW products. I like it

Dang DS inj is very very fast with my mix. 1 side of a church took the whole bucket.

Only bleach I have available to me is the Walmart or Lowes Pool Essential 10%…I just downstream it full strength and it does a great job. I realize that bulk 12.5 is a better deal…I just don’t have that option. And, for those that use this bleach and it is seasonal with your local store…if you have a Lowes nearby, they will order it in any quantity for you if it is paid for upfront,

There’s a bleach supplier on every corner of this country…

You guys are looking in the wrong places.

Two ways to find a supplier…

1). Google

  1. Go to a place with the biggest pool in the area and ask them where they buy there pool chemicals. YMCA, Aquatic Centers, Colleges, Hotels

@Redjess where are you at?

You are wrong, sir…there is not one within 85 miles of me…not ONE.

Where do you live

Like @Infinity said…you have to get smart on the shipping.

I got a commercial space with a circle drive just for the purpose of bleach deliveries. The savings on bulk pays for the shop rent

If I remember correctly he lives in the middle of nowhere Kentucky or some other hillbilly state near there. I believe he lives in a very small community but I could be completely wrong on this one.

Ah I c. If he was within a few hours of me, was going to offer to sell him a drum at face value $98

That’s mighty kind of ya. I wish I could get a drum for that around here.

I’m in Texas, SA

Hmmm, i wonder how fresh it would be.

I don’t buy that! Not in the North anyways. Took me 2 yrs of searching, asking, emailing everywhere to find a supplier to deliver to me. They are over 100 miles away. I found multiple on the East coast but none that would come the last 50 miles to get to me.

I’m in the Appalachian Mountains. Folks are lucky if their pools are open 3 months a year here!
