Where are the after pics ? Lol

Why do people let it get so bad? That can’t be good for the roof.

Can’t get those for 4-6 months probably…

Aren’t green roofs the new environmentally friendly thing?

Doesn’t the UK encourage that on their quaint houses? Would look kinda funny with a clean roof.

thats not a roof - thats a roof top garden. I hope you’re getting paid its weight in cheddar $$$$

Well, there goes all the insulation they had “installed”…

How long did the job take? Was it worthwhile at all?

Those are very common in our area (vacouver, bc). We do at least 10 of those each year.
So, what do I say…
Yes, we charge accordingly. But I don’t do onsite estimate much; occasionally, I will be like, oh s**t. but will still honor my quote and finish the job

So how does insurance work on such a mess?

As in your GL?

idk.
I do get a few calls each year, to wash roofs to meet home insurance companies’ requirements

Just general home insurance. Would they insure it in that state?

Like the insurance paying for the cleaning? Or still insuring after that mess? lol

Lol you’re giving me a migraine over here. Just general home insurance, The if you’re house burns down kinda insurance.

Lol, I know what type you’re talking about now…but do you mean would they pay for the moss removal/cleaning as “damage”, or do you mean would they still insure that house after that insane mess on the roof? Probably no to both of those TBH (or at least the massive amount of moss would probably be used as an out to not pay any claims should they arise later…
