Im in and its been extremely helpful!

Am i too late i submitted reservation

didn’t buy the course, but took a few notes from the sales pitch

All the webinars I do at work are available to view after they are done. Is this able to be watched still?

@MDA1775 and I were texting near the end and I think webinars are good although I always know they’re trying to sell something. Mark was spot on when he said you start to feel a little bit abused by the end of a webinar. The marketing course is probably more than worth it. It’s probably worth 10x or 20x the cost…

BUT… one of his first quotes was about simplicity, then he tries to sell a course with enough information to drown you in the 29 day trial period.

If all I got out of it was the book recommendation for Whale Vomit Method I’m a happy guy. I like Josh and I really like his podcast, but webinars are typically a starting point for me. I don’t buy new shoes without thinking about it for days before I actually do it.

Again, l like Josh a lot. His podcast was my introduction to 5 arounds which I love. But here’s how you can “hack” that webinar. They’re going to send a replay. Start with the book recommendation. It’s $68 which feels a lot better than $1000. He drops a ton of names of his instructors most of which I’ve heard on his podcast.

You can google them, read about them, listen to his podcast and probably it’s a starting point. I spent $500 to get the huge convention. Last year, I heard Brandon speak 10 feet away.

I’ve spent so much money on courses over my lifetime only to be let down more often than not that I’m not even remotely interested in being in the launch group. I’m just a tad miffed actually…

Some of the free info and the free give away content is worth the wait I think.

yea, I wrote down E-myth book, ill read that one, and now I’ll add the book you mentioned to my list.

I’m hesitant to purchase the course, I know it would be a great system imprementation program for a company, but I know we can learn at our own pace, but like he said, why trail blaze when people already created a trail you can follow.

I think the PWRA offers a lot of info for us to grow our businesses, If we all keep inputting info as we grow it will continue to a good resource (free) for anyone.

Here are my notes from the 2 hour sales pitch:

  • Invest Time or Money
  • You need Processes/Systems
  • Can’t grow without good Margins
  • Automated
  • Life-Time Value
  • Upsell
  • Measure Time
  • Hyper-target
  • Personalization
  • Multi-touch targetting
  • Overdeliver
  • Have nice Estimates
  • SALES SYSTEMS
  • Google ADwords
  • 5 Arounds
  • Goal Clarity
  • Details

That’s it.

Agreed. I really enjoy helping you guys out when I learn something and test it and it works. I love it actually. I really enjoy doing it for free. At the moment, I’m not really comfortable paying $1000 to give it all away though. Lol

I’m no Chris or Josh or Brandon or Lisa (yet), but I’d really love to offer a course like that eventually. Again, I’d really like to do it for free for those looking to raise the bar of the industry. And I’d also like to be in a place where I’m not still tied to a machine a couple days a week financially to put full focus into it… which is pretty much what he was talking about. Catch 22 I guess.

That’s a good list and more than enough to get started with I think.

Yea. It comes down to what you consume, based on that is what you’ll put out.

All the pros invested a lot into being who they are, so it’s understandable that they want to get paid to share what they’re learned. Plus their time is valuable.

I’m excited to continue to nurture and grow my company, whether I invest time or money.

I’ve realized that marketing is the pillar that holds companies up, and I haven’t done enough.

So what’s the 5 arounds that I’ve heard you mention a few times?

Here’s the diatribe. Lend me your ears.

Solid advice as usual @squidskc Definitely learning a ton from you on here!

I think @squidskc and @JHH covered it pretty well. I’ve done some of the stuff they referred to “trying things” to drive sales for example and have wasted some money doing it. I need to improve my online presence, update the website SEO etc. all of which is included in the course and the course is less than paying someone to do it BUT I hate doing that stuff. I don’t find it interesting so it gets neglected. In in my case I’m probably better off hiring someone else to do it. I’m also telling people I am doing bids for right now that I can’t get to them until the end of May. Good but frustrating problem to have. One of the things I do that they suggest is even with my book full of business I am still advertising. I think the Send Jim product is worth looking into since forces you into a sales system and that alone should increase sales. I’m also raising my prices as they suggested. I had already started doing that but only in recent weeks.
