My mom drives stick better than my dad does. I always hated it anytime my dad would drive my car when I was living at home. Could hear him riding the clutch on super slow shifts as he pulled away 
And my little sister handles that third pedal better than either of them

Honestly I’m having the same exact problem right now with my 7gpm North Star the first one I got would blow a fuse every time I pulled the trigger, returned it got a new one. Now it blows a fuse after 10 seconds to 1 minute and will blow the fuse. Unless I’m using a bigger orfice tip from my jrod then it’s fine and won’t blow I think the flow restriction is the problem but I can’t be sure.
Make sure it’s the correct fuse. Maybe they originally installed the wrong one. Doubt it but something easy to check. You might want to replace the relay too.
