What’s wrong with it?
No fire to makee water hot Lol.
It all started when I got a Chinese knockoff honda oem key switch, my fan motor and fuel pump were running backwards, fix that and everything worked great for 30 minutes, now nothing. I’ve played with to many wires on the 12v system is the problem lol. The real culprit was the battery post wing nut was loose and fried the original key switch.
I’m at a loss and over my head and now have to take the 2 and 1/2 hr drive of shame to Hotsy.
Lesson learned, get the original crap with original wires.

Wow I remember that. That’s been a minute. I’m horrible at explaining how to troubleshoot hot boxes but you really just have to trace all the wiring from each component back to the control board and then bypass them one by one until you find the culprit. More than likely it’s one of those little circuit boxes/ports/I don’t know what they’re called inside of the burner control box has gone bad. It’s where the wires plug into. @dperez tell him what I mean if this makes any sense to you.
Yeah the relays, I’m not qualified to go any further, I’ve done blown 4, 30 amp fuses in that control box , I got a wire or 10 crossed by now. Hotsy was telling me the micro switch might be fried in the flow switch on the hp side to send power to the fuel pump. I might get brave enough to bypass that , I got new switches, I just feel dumb is all, I’ll figure it out no big. I got 2 more hot machines to break lol.
Never thought to look, those wing nuts were factory from Hotsy, guess all my driving on pot hole filled gravel roads Jared them loose, lesson learned again. Lol

Don’t feel dumb. Until the xbox one came out and it only had a power wire and an hdmi to hook it up I literally had to call my brother every time I moved my old xbox so that he could walk me through it. He would even send me pictures of his lol if it’s mechanical I will figure out what’s wrong with it. If it’s electrical I’m getting on YouTube or paying someone to fix it.

I’m good at AC electric, put my self through Votech on into night college and got my journeyman license when I was a young lad. I can wire my house, but cant fix my Hotsy

That’s probably exactly what did it. Remember that trailer I showed you on here the other night? Some of the lease roads we went down were horrible. I literally broke one of those trailers in all four corners in the rear. I’ve had trailers flex so much that all the bolts holding the machine down snapped off and it fell over onto the other one.

I got plenty of unused diesel fuel in the Hotsy for the bawn fire, maybe even throw in the damn Hotsy.

Dang buddy tell me how you really feel! By the way, I’ve been meaning to ask you how you like that hot pressure pro. If this year goes according to plan I’m going to buy a hot machine at year end.

I’m actually impressed with it for 5k to tell you the truth @DisplacedTexan , it hums right along all day , flow switch was clogged with sediment
from hard water because it was upside down, @Firefighter4hire help me fix that, $25 , 1" Hose barb brass fitting on inlet side to pump cracked due to to much teff tape by PP, Easy start of unloader took a crap, worthless anyways, I chucked it across parking lot and brass plugged it. But I’ve got 800 and sum hrs on it so far with maybe 50 bucks in busted parts. The 18 Vanguard is a beast , love it, I’m waiting for the AR pump to take a crap to replace with Udor or GP 2021 but no signs of stopping yet. All in all its been a good machine so far for 5k.

Where did you find that for $5k? I would’ve just started with that if I had seen those prices! That’s only about $1200 more than I paid for my cold 8.
Greenbriar Arkansas , not to far from you. Also got Landa and Hydrotek. Thats a 5.5gpm for 5k , you wanna 8 , so it’ll be a little more.

I don’t know I’ve been considering a 5.5 for the higher downstream ratio. I could have a helper soaping with the 5.5 and then I could rinse with the 8. I don’t do much commercial so I probably wouldn’t need the 8. I’ve got plenty of time to think on it. Not buying one any time soon. I’ve got to hit the hay I’ve got a long day tomorrow. Washing in the am then heading to Oklahoma for family gathering then helping my grandma move on Sunday. Should be a good time.

I’m actually working now, I got a new guy to bark orders , I’m sitting in the cab doing paperwork and ordering more chems and fitting new 2315 guns with qc and wands. taking it easy tonight, I washed all day and spent my ole body. Night buddy have a good one this weekend.
