Remote soap switch

Question, wouldn’t having tons of bouncy rubber spacers cause it to vibrate more (giving it more room to move), compared to having it bolted straight to a solid frame?

It’s not the bouncing you are trying to overcome. It’s the high frequency vibrations. But per advise I’ll be taking the rubbers between the rails and motor out. And replacing with good rubber.

Gotcha, so the intention is for the rubber to absorb the vibrations.

Correct. Rather than the motor or pump taking it all.

I’m dying to know how that predator works out for you. I’m so tempted to buy one. My lawn guy has multiple trucks and trailers to the point his guys have to swap a motor a year. He’s been swapping them all out to predators over the last few years and he swears by them. Says there’s absolutely no difference in performance and 1/3 the price.

I just need to buy one and run the life out of it and see how it goes.

I mean for an extra $120 you get a 1 year warranty where they will just trade it. Also I paid $599. Buy the membership for 25$ and wait till you see it go on sale in the magazine.

It is alive! Still missing some hose plumbing parts that should be in the mail tomorrow!

Here’s my 2¢ on the predator motor so far. it’s great! I know I have never owned a Honda 8gpm machine and until today I had never squeezed the trigger on 8gpm. Let me tell ya it’s something else! You better be hanging on! Here’s the other kicker, I was testing on an 040 tip. My order of fittings and tips won’t be in until tomorrow and I had to try the thing out. I was bypassing about half of my water with the 040 and it was still insane compared to my last 3.5 gpm setup.

I still need to get the proper tips in tomorrow and set the unloader properly.

I’d say I have around $2,100 in this pump with all the plumbing.

Very impressed with how the motor holds up to the pump when I hit the trigger. With a 040 tip I believe I was probably pushing every psi out of the pump that it could generate and it still kept trucking.

To whom it may concern- stepping up from 3.5 to 8gpm is crazy! Thank god I listened to @Innocentbystander and got an udor! I had 120 in the buffer tank and I’m on a slow well. Ran the pump dry on accident! You really gotta hang onto the wand!

Very happy but I will be very sore learning new muscles!

Should get you a K7 and remote mount it.

Is there any way I can stop the gun from kicking like a 12 gauge with a slug? Dang! :open_mouth:

Don’t pull the trigger hard. We wash one handed all day long. Squeeze trigger slowly. 0050 nozzle is about the same as a garden hose . You have a lot of money invested in that pump to not have an unloader block. Racer likes the k7. I like the blue spring. Personal preference on that.

$22

I didn’t realize triggers worked like that? Thought it was an on off kinda deal.

Confused on what this does?

St2315

takes the weight, vibration, and torque from unloader off your pump and its brass threads. $22 insurance policy.

I’ve never heard of an unloader block until this point! Feel like a newb again!

After you sent me one I ended up with 4 more. I can’t imagine using any other trigger.
