Raptor liner

I wanted to share my experience with raptor liner.

This stuff is GOLD!

My truck bed was starting to get some bad spots from SH.

I am building a new skid right now so I decided to order this stuff and coat everything! My headache rack, bed, tailgate, and skid. The bed is done and the rest is primed in the shop ready to spray when I get off work tomorrow! Here are some pics. This stuff is a great tool for our industry to protect our equipment.

Did it come with the gun to spray it? looks good though!

Yes when you buy the 4 bottle kit it should come with the gun. I ran my regulator at 50PSI.

4 bottles, gun and hardener was only $110
If you have a long bed I would suggest ordering an extra bottle or two. I have a short bed and I used 3 just on the bed.

How was the over spray dust? My garage is finished and its more of a family garage then work shop as its finished and I have things in there that cant get over sprayed haha.

I see you stopped in the same spot every time on your spray pattern did that show heavy when it dried?

Not at all! Its really thick stuff so over spray was minimal. I was outside when I sprayed it though and there was a breeze. I sprayed it outside and it was about 50-55 then backed into the shop, put the torpedo heater on saw horses aimed right into the bed. Once it dried out you couldn’t tell where I stopped and started. I would be careful doing it in a garage with other vehicles. Get some cheap plastic to hang around if you have too. Or wait for a nice day and spray it outside.

Let’s see the skid when it’s finished

Looks good

Getting closer! Didn’t have enough raptor to do the skid after I did the headache rack and tailgate. Ended up at the store buying hardy paint.

I have a 200 gallon low pro tank that will sit under this frame. Top of frame will be covered in 3/4 inch teated that’s painted with texture paint. Motor and hose reels will mount on top. 30 gallon SH TANK and 8 gallon soap tank will mount against headache rack.

Another night down! 3/4 of the “deck” done. Will mount the SH tank this weekend. Hoping my 200gal tank comes in here within a week or two. Got jobs lined up in 3 weeks!!

Looking good!

Looks great. Please keep us updated. One of the things I love the most about online forums are “build threads”.

A bowtech guy… Mathews 4 Lyfe.

Joking aside what kind of truck is that?

Had my bowteck explode at 3/4 draw! Scared the hell out of me and I instantly started trying to feel around my body for an arrow sticking out of me! Went to get it repaid so I could sell it and get the new halon. Shot the halon and didn’t feel like it was worth the $1,000 compared to keeping my bow. Bowtech fixed it for free so I can’t complain! 5 year old admiral.

Truck is an 02 f150 with 355,000 lol
Plowed snow with it commercially for 8 years now!
Still on original motor and trans only went out because I slapped it in drive while still backing up plowing snow.

The thing is a walking ford commercial lol.

Nice tine length dude

Thank you sir! I hunted this deer for 2-3 months straight! Couldn’t get him closer than 45-50 yds. Grunted him into my area over a dozen times and saw him almost every time I went out. He was always hanging out with a really nice 9 pointer that would walk right by me. I named him Ghost because he would literally appear out of nowhere ever time I saw him. I’d be watching the field and look behind me, turn around and he was in the middle eating lol. Had him chase a fawn past me the 2nd week I was hunting him and I about ripped the limbs off my bow pulling it back so fast but he went from 20 yds to gone in seconds. I’ve been hunting 14 years and I’ve never hunted one buck so hard in my life.

Ironically I shot him out of a ground blind that I had brushed in hoping to get closer to his main travel path. The irony is that I took my 4 year old with me hunting for her first time the night I shot him. He must have been attracted to the sound of her eating pretzels or slurping a water bottle.

His brows are just shy of 12 inches. Pretty solid buck!

Still at a standstill waiting on this darn water tank… I had to special order the thing and was told it would be delivered to the store in 2 weeks… that was 3 weeks ago. I went ahead and put the SW battery in today. It will start the pressure washer motor as well.

It is also wired to the alternator so it charges while I drive.

I want to get the tank in before I plumb anything. I’d hate to have to do it over if the dimensions were not exactly like advertised.

Hi there.

Really digging the skid set up there. I have a Tundra with a 6 ft bed which I’m setting up for pressure washing as well as window cleaning, so every inch matters. May I ask where you got the skid made and how much it cost? Thanks in advance.
