I figured asking advice all in one post would be easier than making individual post on each one.
The hi/lo trombone valves seem to only be able to be put on a lance end. Can I not put a quick connect end on so I can change different length lances? I have some tight spots to get in and some not.!
oxalic done absolutely nothing on wood deck for me. SH always works. Except turns the wood white. Didn’t want to high pressure the wood. Any other way to let chems do the work and not have to spend so much time with high pressure on every square inch and picket on a deck fence?
What’s y’all’s best for oil/diesel stains on concrete? I’m using hot water, caustic beads, and some dawn. I’ve tried all types of degreasers. Just want to see what works best.
I have a pressure pro burner and when it’s running for a little bit there’s a little smoke coming from around the base of the stainless where it goes to the base of the frame, and some smoke coming out of the inlet pipe surround inside where the insulation material is.. is that normal?
I won’t speak for DirtyBoy but 2 of the 4 questions you asked are extensively covered in other posts. If you’re new to the business or new to the forum maybe spend some keyboard time using the search feature. Some of us are more active in this business and on this site than others but we all appreciate self reliance and hard work. Do some research, if you can’t find something in the history post it, probably someone else is looking for the same information.
General info on this site about wood. It can be very specific at times.
If you want to know about log homes or half log homes:
If you want a training session you can go to this guy’s training (many people in the industry have attended one of his courses)
If you want training and information on stains then go to these trainings/seminars
and last but not least you can always read everything from the federal labs about wood, the leader in the industry and everyone steals their info.
Your welcome, have a great day. If you don’t have insurance and are doing decks without it, well, I would advise you to get some. You can really bugger up a deck. Doing decks isn’t fast unless your a hack or have many people on site.
As for your burner on your pressure pro , how many hours on the machine? We have 5 of them and we install a rebuild kit and a new fuel nozzle in them every year before winter because that’s when we begin to use them alot for fleet washing. The rebuild kit comes with new electrodes, a drive shaft from fan to fuel pump and a guage to set electrodes. Search YouTube for videos. We order ours through North Georgia airless ,ask for Johnathan, hes a technician with a wealth of knowledge. Have your model # ready plus your gpm. Don’t forget the fuel nozzle and replace your burners fuel filter.
People get annoyed because with so much info out there / already covered it comes off as someone doesn’t want to take the time to search and read a lot but wants others to retype and post what’s already out there for them.
I really appreciate this! Wasn’t sure about all that. I don’t use it very often but it’s been having a little smoke come out of the cracks ever since I got it ( thinking it was burning off the new) it’s not much just a little seepage from the cracks and around the outlet side pipe area. I’ve had the burner for right at a year. Maybe 100 hours on it. Also haven’t found any info on if i can or need to run any fuel treatment in the diesel to keep burning clean
