@marinegrunt can you give me some things to search
I’ve compiled a reading list with links to threads on the forum that helped me. I mean there’s so much more (I have almost 200 bookmarks) but it’s a start:
Thanks I’m getting 2 days
I’m excited
@TexasPressureWashing
Hey I have seen things that shoot out water when not squeezing the trigger to prevent not burning a pump do you know what’s that’s callEd I would like to do some research on it
They’re called unloaders.
Thanks
Thermal relief valve.
Isn’t that only utilized when the pump is overheating? Vs an unloadeder recycling the water to prevent the overheating?
Yep. …
Thanks for the clarification and the correction.
A thermal Relief Valve is a thermal protector for the pressure washer pump. It protects the pump from damaging heat that builds up while in recirculation/bypass mode. Opening temperature is 140°F. The valve will reset automatically once the pump relives the excess heat.
Pressure Washer Unloader / Regulator Valves. An unloader valve is the component of a pressure washer that allows the pump to bypass the flow of water back to the pump while the spray gun is not being used. Most unloader valves also act as a pressure regulator for the output pressure of the pump.
and @Hotshot Those aren’t the ones you want. You want the DGV series - all stainless, but maybe not since you guys don’t use SH. They’re going to run you mid $ thirties or slightly more
I wish they were all stainless but half the body is nickel plated brass. The stem is all stainless though. Back in the day Super Swivel wanted me to buy at least 100 for them to produce a run of jump size swivels. I found the DGV’s and they already made my jump size so I tried a handful of them and found I couldn’t beat them for the price. I have bought about 70 of them and they have all been winners.
I religiously buy DGV from pressuretek for $39.99, never knew the difference except the price. Thanks @Racer
Bro I can’t wait for the cordless water hose! Draggin these hoses around is getting old lol

Thanks for the help
Dude kleenrite is so cheap! I love that place, it comes at the cost of slow shipping but if you can wait it’s worth it. No other place comes close to their prices
The link I posted is a DGV series. Look up the part number. @Racer fell off his rocker DGV’s are not all stainless but the DGVI’s are
All my trigger guns, swivels and reusable field fittings come from them but that’s it lol
