Question about Machine Throttle

The Innocent One is my type of guy. Slow and steady if I’m supposed to be relaxing.

Ain’t that barge supposed to be in something wet to have a good time ?

Any luck @Chesebro

Granted, it’s better in water but I sit on it in the morning in my shop and drink coffee listening to Bobby Goldsboro and working on the schedule before the guys show up

I’m a teddy bear and actually do the worst gutter jobs and crappy projects myself. I’m a halfway decent boss. My only real firing offenses are for not using ladder stabilizers or having your shirt tail untucked. My guys know that up front.

I bet your a way better boss than you give yourself credit for, I have no doubt

Hmm not a bad idea maybe ill add a George forman grill to my kayak but i might accidentally clamp my foot in it like Michael Scott from the office. Ill stick to packing tomato sandwiches and some peaches. I am going to figure out away to attach a dry bag to the side for a pistol. Sitting so low to the water i could see a snake climbing right into my lap.

If i had that raft. Id have a black flag, one of those huge steering wheels on sail boats to control the trolling motor, some old green shrimp nets hanging off the roof and mount that cannon he has on it. :sunglasses::sunglasses:

Just get a glock. It can get wet and fire just fine. I love my 1911 but that thing can’t get wet

B S…who told you a 1911 won’t shoot when it gets wet.

I did. I don’t want my 1911 getting wet. I am 200% sure it will perform but I don’t want to spend that 2 hours completely disassembling and cleaning it after every outing. My glock gets wet and I’ll leave it that way for a month without a second thought

Glocks run better dirty

They ain’t that fragile…been using them hard for decades. Walked in creeks above my waist…with a 1911 in a hip holster during bear seasons and hog hunting…never had one rust up…mine really don’t get any special treatment, always go bang. When they are cleaned…I just use a good product on them.

I don’t think they’re not made to handle a bit of water here and there. I mean, they did make it thru countless wars being “maintained” by military personnel just fine. My 1911 is very special to me and I am a complete freak about maintaining guns. I have a book where I write down every trip to the range and how many rounds were fired, using which mags, any malfunctions, etc. I can tell you exactly how many rounds have been through each of my guns. So, no, I’m not taking my 1911 onto a boat or anywhere near water if I don’t have to. The Glock, on the other hand, I have no emotional attachment to and I can buy another at any gun store in America. I couldn’t care less about it but I still maintain it just like the others. Plus, it holds 16 rounds so I can miss a time or two.

My S&W SD9VE is all pimped out with full internals and extended mags and tac light. It holds 20 rounds of 9mm and that gun cost less than $300 brand new. It is in the same category as the Glock.

Id rather not get any of my guns wet lol. I’d take a M&P over a glock. We got trapped in a storm today kayaking. Had to flip our kayaks upside down against a tree and get under them. Bad storms came out of no where. Made it back safe after we had a break in the weather.

The M&P’s are nice, too. That’s essentially what my SD9VE is just one or two minor changes. I really want an H&K but can’t get over the weird mag release thingy. My favorite thing about Glocks is they are like classic Chevrolet’s where most any part goes on most any gun.

You still have this contraption? I’ve been pondering on good uses for my old SH drums and this is one I keep coming back to. I’ve probably given away 50 barrels and I still have a few left. The place we bought has a nice little spring fed pond on it and this would be perfect to put down there.

Absolutely. It gets used almost every weekend. Last week the boys used it as a duck blind.
