How long do your batteries last?
Do you carry a spare one?
I have mine wired to my trucks alternator. I got tired of charging it last year and once I wired it up I was in heaven! I ordered an amp install kit from amazon. Make sure you fuse both ends right at the battery on the positive side.

Your pressure washer should charge your battery. As long as you use it once a week or so you’ll be fine. I’ve had mine for a year with no need to charge ever.
Can you do a video on how to hook this up? I have 3 batteries I would like to hook up (2 PW batteries and a roof pump battery).

I will do a video tomorrow after work if I get a few minutes. That’s a lot of batteries! They would all be tied together if they were wired into the truck. I would do down to just 2 batteries. The battery under the hood makes it 3. Food for thought!
The pw batteries should not need tied to the truck. Do your pressure washer charge them?
I don’t think the machines charge the batteries. I was also told that you could wire the batteries to your wiring harness for the trailer but not sure how to do that yet. I only need a trickle type charge.
I tried that with my softwash batteries at first. Wasn’t enough power to keep up.

I’d be surprised if the engine doesn’t charge the batteries. Most electric start engines are already setup to do so.
If the PW charges the batteries then I just need to charge my softwash battery
It should be! If you have an amp meter you can put it on the leads with the washer running and you should see a higher number than you do with the washer not running.
Can your pw starter batrery and softwash battery be the same?
I don’t see why not… I would advise being able to do onboard charging with the truck though. The charging system on the pw is not large enough to carry the weight of a sw pump.
Can, but shouldn’t. Charging off of truck alternator is not a good idea either
