Property for sale / nursery. Thoughts?

Lots of hippies here. Not sure how they obtain their mj. Interestingly the term isn’t a putdown on the west coast. :slightly_smiling_face:

I hadn’t heard of MD although my wife has. I don’t watch much TV.

You sound like a well informed individual

LOL hey I was a college kid once. Now, it’s legal in over half of the country and there is even a movement forming to legalize the old magic mushrooms. What a time to be alive, right?

Oh, no, it certainly doesn’t work that way but the reality is there will always be a black market regardless of legalization. Most folks on the “legal” side of things know people on the other side. That’s how Colorado medical marijuana has been in Oklahoma for years LOL

She’s one truss over half. Mowing season is here and I’m still waiting on box parts to arrive so time is thin :disappointed:

Nice. Are you putting a heater in there? What about water? I’ve seen a bunch where they build a small shack outside the hoop house and then duct the heat in, and others where they put it in the house. I’ve seen several that ran underground water supplies to it and others that drag hose.

This house will have an lp heater hanging from the trusses this fall. But it’s not likely to ever get used unless blaire decides she wants to grow more from seed next year than the greenhouse here at home will handle. Or if we have a weird cold snap or late frost. 95% of what we are selling is just bought wholesale and resold. But the houseplants blaire grows from cuttings.

Thanks for answering, I am a curious monkey. In my area we can get freezes until the end of may, so a lot of people (due to the shortened growing season) start growing plants with heaters in the greenhouse. They also rotate from vegetables to flowers seasonally, even into winter with the poinsettias.

Oh here in Illinois we have to heat the grow house! We have a 30x36 at home and it has a heater. Keep it 80 all winter.

Very nice! Does the “Dead Head” have anything to do with nothing growing on the top of your head.

LOL, of all the names in the world for a nursery? Really. Sounds like a pot farm.

Lol deadhead is a play on words. When you deadhead a plant you cut back the old to bring in new life.

I know that, but the graphics kind of weird. People will be afraid to bring their kids with them, lol.
