Good Morning Billy63.
Welcome to the Pressure Washing Resource.
Their are a few here from the Charlotte area but they will want to know a bit more about who they are talking to before they get too generous with their price structure sharing.
There is nothing wrong with making sure that your prices are in line, just don’t make the mistake of pricing too low in hopes of getting more work. If you underprice, you just go out of business faster. Every company ultimately must determine their own prices so that they can cover their own needs regarding covering expenses, generating a profit and providing for future growth.
What is your company name, do you have a website and would you be kind enough to post that information in your signature?
Thanks, and welcome to the PWRA.
Definitely not looking to undercut people or asking for there secrets. I want to be as far as possible and not looked down apon in the industry. Jetstreampowerwash is the name of my business and I have not created a signature yet because I just joined this morning I will when I get a chance. I did an estimate on a driveway last week using the estimate calculator and it was spot on compared to another in the same neighborhood. It gives a low estimate and a high estimate and calculate per zip. Seems pretty legit to me.

Billy63 Maybe I don’t see to well but I didn’t see any calculators on the homewyse home page that can be any use for this industry. The prices people charge vary by regions and how good your marketing plan is and how well you can sell. I’m in the 10-15 cents per square ft for a housewash here. I do offer some discounts when I run a promo. As far as concrete cleaning goes I will discount it 25-30% with a housewash. Otherwise I try to get 8-12 cents a foot.
What seems high? Elaborate please instead of LOLing!

Josh Davis A little High? LOL It said I should charge between 1,377.80-2503.70 for 2,000 sq ft
Billy63 seankilgore@verizon.net … maybe I’m in the wrong area
If I quoted $621 to wash a 2000 square foot house I would instantly be hung up on. Much less if I quoted $1,175. It’s just WAY off. I would say more accurate for my area it would be $150 low to $350 high for a 2000 square foot house. Personally, I would be around $250.

I would quote $525 to $575 for basic wash of 2,000 square feet.
More than six out of ten will accept.
That is why I’m asking to find out what they should be and if that calculator is off!

Something about getting north of that Mason Dixon line… lol

I would say the calculator is about right on the low end and the high is well should even be considered. I did a calculation for a 2000sq house in my area and it said $630.

Thanks Tim4 for being a professional the other two I can’t say the same for. I asked a simple question and I got a video of a robot from a guy that doesn’t know what he is talking about.

Did you watch the video? I just thought it was a good summary of your tone. Please and thank you will go a long way. Especially when asking for help from people who don’t know you

I mean, obviously I can’t hear your tone, but this is how you’re coming across to me.

New, no signature and being kind of a jerk? Good luck buddy.
