Anddd just drive by a Mr Clean Wash It or something silly on the way to house number 2. Big magnets on a hideous van…

Something must be appealing to adding Mr. infront of the business name… there is one around me too.

My phone lit up this morning! I also had 2 messages come from my website where people filled out a request for estimates… Guess it was a good year to loose my job! 2 more days sitting at this desk and I AM A FREE MAN!!

I had a whole tirade of ripping your sales position apart because I CAN NOT stand car salesmen. But I deleted it because it may have become personal. You have your(Disgusting as it may be) way and I have mine.
Good day to you,.

Wow. I didnt get that at all from what he said. Maybe you need to reavalute your process becuase all of what he said is true when selling and advertising.

A great salesman once said to me… I Don’t sell things to people, I help them buy things.

I sold cars for a few years didn’t really like it due to the hours and the games. with that said, the customers would lie more than the salespeople and want to do all the game playing. I’m more of a is you is or is you ain’t type person so I negotiated very little

Just saw this fella across the parking lot while hooking up to flush salt. At one point he was using a wood handled push broom to scrub the glass after pressure washing it. So… welcome to PW season 2019.

Literally across the street from my house. Heard them at 7:30 PM…finished (one section) at about 8:15.

the old “wood handled push broom to scrub the glass after pressure washing it” move. He probably called an audible on the next play and executed the infamous “use one of the client’s folding chairs as a makeshift ladder to step onto so he can reach the top of 1st story” play.

Just watched a video earlier of a local guy standing on a 8’ step ladder cleaning vinyl in 2" strokes. “Environmentally Friendly and Pet Safe!”

I think over half the guys on the pwra forum could be these guys

It sounds like you ran into a sleazy car salesman or two in your day. That’s unfortunate but the reality is that most car salesmen are just like you and I. I’m a former car salesman and I loved my job and met some great people along the way. In fact, most people get ripped off FAR worse when buying a home than they ever do a car but somehow we never hear about shady realtors, right?

Car buying is simple: Get preapproved (I always recommend going with a credit union local to you), shop your immediate area for the vehicle you want, visit the dealers that are competitively priced and test drive each vehicle, say no to the first two offers and usually the third is what they need to have to sell that car on that specific day. Always shop at month end and always go back to your original salesman or the process will start over. Refuse house financing and bring your bank draft ready to buy. I always recommend buying gap insurance because cars are the fastest depreciating asset you will ever buy. Most of your haggling should be with the finance manager–not the lowly salesman. The F&I guys always make considerably more. Congrats, now you’re an expert car buyer. That’ll be $279.95. I accept cash or cash.

Hey… they could always yell at us in internet for not buying stuff based on a YouTube channel and hack your iCloud account.

And then delete it lol

Just saw a sign on my way home today that said “Power Washing $50” right after losing another job to a price shopper. Sigh…

I refer so much business to the low ballers. Every crappy, low paying, headache, dangerous, sketchy, and easily damaged job goes to them. I know at their low prices that the more work they do, the faster they go bankrupt.
