Pressure washer flow "sputter"

He’s not kidding. I have 100’ in mine. As mentioned it helps with surging if you leave your tank partially full. It definitely keeps the return line from causing bubbles too. Would be a little overkill just for that though.

Same here. Got 100’ in my ibc tote too, and it never surges when driving around.

It’s because it’s an over priced Landa paper weight

Nvm… some of y’all have pressure pros.

Clogged check valves is probably your issue

I ran with and without and I’ll tell you I’ll never run without again. Night and day difference

Sorry@Harold, I really thought you were kidding, the opening on the tote is probably only 7" ,but ill check. I’ve heard of putting a bunch of plastic 4balls in it ,but never 100’ of 8 " .Doesn’t that eat up alot of volume?

The lightweight perforated flex drain (the kind you have to stretch out like an accordion before using) is very thin and takes up hardly any volume.

I have about 75’ of it split evenly between my two vertical 55 gallon tanks, and it cut the sloshing down to practically nothing. I ride around with those tanks half full all the time now.

My big tank has baffles built into it. I would never go back to a tank without them. I dont need any in my little 100 gallon tank

@Hotshot if it’s got the ball valve that came with the ibc tote. Check to make sure it is open all the way. The handle will get out of line with the value and not be open but like half way.

I might have the diameter wrong but it definitely works for both issues. I’m running two 8’s on one tote. Haven’t noticed a volume loss. The pipe that I used barely cleared the hole but I’ve taken 100’ in and out a couple times without too much difficulty.

I sure do @Firefighter4hire, I got all my Rigs washed for the week, now it’s time to really figure out what MRS HOTSY TOTSY’S problem is. Gonna give her my full undivided attention today and figure it out. Thanks for your help Man.

I like that dude in the video ,He’s actually the one who turned me on to $15 GP high draw injectors many moons ago before I found ya’ll fine fellows on the PWRA.

@Hotshot I think you might be slipping the belts. You mentioned earlier you checked belt tension but did you try and pull the belt by hand to see if it was still grabbing the sheave? I run two sets of belts then I replace the sheaves on my third set. Would also explain why your missing some gpm and psi. Good luck

Think I’ve got 6” perforated corrugated pipe in mine.

I use the 6" preforated pipe

What size and type of hose you have running to your 4? We really need a pic.

I got the belts with teeth, and the dbl sheaves to match. Little rubber residue ,but no sign of teeth on belts missing. But they are tightened to its full capacity , 1279 hrs

1" feed line to 4gpm and 5.5 gpm pump off of a T that goes to filter then to 2" line to IBC tote

1" feed to 4gpm pump

I lied, the sheaves don’t have teeth, Hmmmm. You might be absolutely right

Yeah there are cogged v belts and cogged belts. The cogged v belts will slip intermittently but after some rest I remembered you said you don’t get the problem pressure feeding the pump only when gravity feeding?
