Powerwash Store

Where does that put you?

Oh wow. You stay busy washing there? Looks rural. I work Clarksville some. Crud are we competing?lol

Yes I stay busy, my first available opening is currently May 13th.

No we aren’t competing. I don’t work in Tennessee very often. I have a few luxury homes in the Paris landing area and that’s about it.

Thats awesome! After weeks like I just had Im really itching to get out of the city. If thought I could stay busy Id be gone!

I called today and Alex was busy so she had to do my order. I ordered 4 cases of f-9 and all but demanded they were on my doorstep tomorrow by noon.

She was very polite and said she would walk the invoice back to the shipping manager and get them out. Not less than 30 minutes later I had an email from UPS with a date for tomorrow.

Well, in order to stay busy in a rural area, small town you have to offer a lot. I do windows, gutters, house washing, fleet washing, concrete and aggregate sealing, and roof washing. It’s a lot to keep up with.

I need to add windows and fleet. Any tips on fleet?

I just have a couple of companies with bucket trucks and service vans. No big truck stuff. We brush them so it takes two people. My only advice would be get a good soap. I use Cherry Bomb.

They lost me for good.

Are you waiting on F9?

Southside did it to me too! I ordered on Friday and gave my credit card information over the phone. Was promised a tracking number and never got it. Called yesterday and was promised it was out. Today I got a call saying they don’t have my credit card information and can’t process the order without it which means:

  1. My CC info is floating around Southside somewhere. I do not like that at all.
  2. Tomorrow is the only sunny day I get for 2 weeks most likely and it will NOT be here. Which means I have to push a $1250 rust removal job out at least two weeks and according to the economic principle of opportunity cost, I can’t fill that day with $1250 either.

I’m not happy. I don’t do that to people… why would vendors do it customers?

Talked to Russ. The answer I got: That employee shouldn’t have told you you’d get a tracking number on Friday. Whose business is it?

I live 15 minutes from Southside. They have the guys putting trailers together in the large warehouse, and a small office as you first walk in. I don’t really see very many actual office workers there, a nice lady up front usually and occasionally Russ helping me with my usual upgrades.

I have to chime in here to offer my negative experience with PowerWashStore as well. I’ve been reluctant to say anything because the owner of my local “franchise” has helped me out and showed me the ropes of fleet washing and general maintenance on my machines I bought from him, but I’m probably not going to be using him as my vendor anymore. I put in an order (and paid for) a 2nd two-step hose gun and reel which runs $1300 and was told the lead time was about 4 weeks. It’s been 2.5 months now and all I’ve heard from him is that the vacuum hose is back-ordered. Called the number on their website and they told me to talk to my local franchise owner or pound sand. Literally wouldn’t answer any question or say anything other than I had to talk to my local guy, who won’t answer my texts and has generally been poor at communicating. The thing is, I know he’s not the one putting it together. It’s being put together in Wisconsin and shipped to him. Pretty ridiculous response from corporate in my opinion.

He is also a vendor who washes. Wise words again from IBS.
