Newbie in Texas

Just introducing myself and thanking everyone for their generosity on this forum. Unbelievable amount of information and knowledge.

Is it normal to feel overwhelmed, almost like the more i research, the more confused i get?

chemical mixtures and when/where what works best.

Oh ok well that’s kinda vague you gotta do alot more reading all the answers are on this site. How about you tell what you are doing now and what equipment you are using

bandit 8 gpm w/ DS setup and a honda 4 gpm.

i’m wanting to do my personal roof on my home.

i wasn’t looking for anyone to hand me a fish, i was mostly just posting to introduce myself. i’ve been creeping as a guest for a while. i still have a lot of reading and researching to do

Type your questions in to the search bar. You’ll likely find your answer. What kind of work do you do now?

What are you trying to clean. If it’s your roof I’m sure we can help but I would be guessing since we no idea what kind of roof. What I’m getting at if you want help ask very detailed questions if you have pictures post them with the question

with this thread i had no intention of asking anything specific. i was genuinely just making my first post, saying hello. i will definitely post any questions that i have when i can’t find anything with the search bar

i feel like i’ve been trying to take in too much information on too many topics at once

Gotcha. Well welcome

Then introduce yourself! Where are you from, what’s your name, and what do you currently wash? Maybe this will help
-SH, a proper surfactant like elemonator, a downstream injector, and low pressure nozzles is what’s used to soft wash houses.(Search ratios and the process).
-A 5-7gpm 12v pump is what most people use to wash roofs. You can batch mix or use a proportioner to get the % of SH you need to get the roof clean (4-5%) and use a proper surfactant like roof snot or cling on. Say you use 10% SH, you’d mix half water and half SH in your tank which would give you your 5%…(search roof washing, ratios, and the process)
-There’s a ton of good info on concrete cleaning on here. Search for @Racer’s driveway cleaning video to learn the process of pre treating, post treating, why it’s necessary, and the process.
-Search for the thread called Deck Cleaning 101. You’ll find some good info on how to wash wood and the process as well. A lot of threads get derailed but the information is in there and the thread derailment is usually a good read anyway lol.

I feel personally attacked. I’m fine with it though.
