New box truck... Need help with equipment arrangement

Why though? No water on site?

Speed man,speed. Lol

The trucks are good for it. And it really hurts our night to be stopping all the time to go fetch water

Yes sir, If we canā€™t hit a hydrant on site I truck water from the house. I leave it filling while Iā€™m sleeping

I have a 7x14 enclosed now. I love it but, itā€™s tough on parking in an urban area. Next one will need to be more compact. Iā€™ve rescheduled a few jobs due to parking. I was very close to keeping one machine on wheels but decided against it and bought a second 8gpm to be permanently mounted soon. If I canā€™t park Iā€™ll reschedule and throw the 5gpm in the pickup truck. I think a box truck would be best. Security and maneuverability.

I gotcha. If OP doesnā€™t have consistent access to water where heā€™s working then I completely understand. If he does though it just seems unnecessary and a liability to haul that much around

Got my lights a shining homie.

thanks again

What I understand it that E450 is too tiny for 1k gallons

Dang. Luckily thereā€™s a couple of water departments nearby that have water filling stations where a quarter gets you 50 gallons. I can fill my 330 tore and my 65 gallon leg tank for like $2.50 and takes about 5 minutes

@Hotshot You got the 110 degree spot? Looks like a 4k color temp lamp?

Yeah, Iā€™ve heard of a few municipalities offering filling stations. Never seen one in person. Iā€™m in DFW Texas

Nice! I love DFW. My favorite restaurant in the world has a location in downtown Dallas. Iron Cactus. I could eat my body weight in their refried beans

Never been, Iā€™ll have to check out their reviews. Can you fill with a 4" hose at the filling station or whatā€™s the setup to get it loaded?

Got dis one

right one ?

Itā€™s the most basic setup in the world really. I pull up with the trailer and they have a piece of 3" or 4" hose hanging down. At the top of the hose is a funnel where the water splashes into and it funnels into the hose and into your tank. So easy a caveman could do it

Iron Cactus originated on 6th street in Austin and they have a few locations now. You wont be disappointed.

Man that water dispensary sounds quick ! @DisplacedTexan
