Right. I’m not putting in a tank yet. But when I do, I’ll replumb it for what he said.

Makes more sense.

What ever you do don’t say it 3 times!!!

I had it from a message, since you don’t mind sharing.

It’s on my YouTube channel now. It was just unlisted.

I’d post the link, but I just updated iOS and it’s not playing nice with some of my apps.

Thanks.

You lose a lot of water flow if you flow thru the reel and fittings to your buffer tank

You suggesting using the reel strictly to hold the hose? Unwinding and and connecting it right to the hudson float directly on the tank?

i understand most of the things you said. But why do you not like ball valves when so many veteran washers like racer use them religiously with no issues? just wondering

Good video… thanks for posting. I may be slightly slow, videos do a lot for me to learn.

@squidskc you bucket organizers… where from? Ive seens the lids, but the organizers inside are awesome… very efficient with saving space.

eBay or amazon for dirt cheap.

Disregard. I think I got the last set at Menards for $6/piece

Damn you are all the menards stuff you show. Dont think theres a store withing 4 states of here.

I will certainly be looking for some though… it beats a few crates of fishing lures boxes for fittings and whatnots it appears.

Yes…

Get online. They do 11% rebates all the time. Covers shipping. @racer orders his gator locks from menards online.

Or spend $30 on something useful. Lol

Gator lock, or Banjo preference?

6 to one, half dozen to another. They’re the same. I have both.

They are not needed if you have effecient equipment. If you have a surface cleaner or equipment that doesn’t plug into your gun, use a ball valve until you can buy better. But that is all it is. .A ball valve to start and stop the flow of water. They are not designed to be gated back under prrssure. They do not automatically stop flowing water if you drop them. When there is little to be gained the risk should be little.

what does using a ball valve to stop the flow of water to switch to a surface cleaner and maybe back to rinse quick etc. how does that have anything to do with the efficiency of equipment. i dont know if your assuming i would be using it for other reasons? i dont even know what else i would use it for other then what i just mentioned

whats the risk your talking about?

and " They do not automatically stop flowing water if you drop them. When there is little to be gained the risk should be little." uhhhh what? do people literally drop them and think oh damn how come after i dropped it the water didnt stop?

i’m only asking this because your in the minority as far as this goes on here apparently.

@Racer sorry to bother you. but can you explain maybe why you use your ball valve? pros and cons?
