Need advice on my first tank set up

The one i complemented on your feng shui

That wasn’t even in this thread. I flayg my own post occasionally just to keep everyone in their toes.

Gosh… true the other thread.

For washing houses it is unproductive, inefficient, counter intuitive and unnecessary. Innocent Bystander

I can see either you dont have the money or just brain dead in this issue. All 4 parts of your answer is untrue. Dont hold others back because your to cheap or stubborn to go soft. You need both and if your busy which i doubt you are, soft washing a house saves time and cleans hands down better then Pw. Now if time is not an issue and your slow, lower that pressure and have to it. Why on earth would i want to stear anybody in the wrong direction. Im not selling the product.

Lol, you’re a strange one, but I think most here see thru your nonsense. Have fun and good luck with whatever you do. Feel free to ask, research or call me if you want advice on how to make money easier and be more efficient. This is a great place to learn

At the risk of repeating myself…

Also, most guys here do have a 12v system on board their rigs. They simply choose to use their pressure washer along with a downstream injector and low pressure tips to wash most houses more efficiently.

Btw, we see some gnarly mildew and lichen growth here in the northeast. Florida doesn’t corner the market on dirty houses.

My advice @JPW, is give downstreaming another shot. Do a little more research, get a GP HiDraw injector, and just see what happens. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. No one is telling you to ditch your 12v system. There’s still a place for it when cleaning roofs, pre and post treating concrete, and dealing with more porous surfaces like stucco/dryvit

Dude the lichen up here is bananas. And moss on roofs. Hate it!

This dude is bananas. I know there’s a few die hard soft-washers that swear by the booster pumps and Apple wash for house washing. They make a big deal that it goes on pink so you can see/mark where you spray. How long have people been DS houses with no need to see where they’ve sprayed? If it’s wet…you’re good. If it’s dry, you missed it and spray that area. I often will spray a side and then stand back to make sure everything is wet. It’s a gimmick that’s “hot” with the soft-wash community.

Anyone that brags they make $80-100 hour after being in this business 15+ years needs to go back to the drawing board. Taking 1.5 hours to clean a two story 2500 sf house says it all to me. Even with 5.6gpm I can clean that size house in 45 min (unless dealing with fence or tons of landscaping). But I guess if it makes him happy then whatever. But he shouldnt be coming here giving any advice

bahhh haaa haaaa. You can clean a 2500 sq ft house in 45 minutes and make 150 dollars. Hmmm sounds like your really good. So in turn you clear 200 dollars and hour. If you did do a house in 45 minutes, that’s a 1 story house

  1. your full of …
  2. you would be called a swishy swishy dine a dozen PW
  3. also known as a fly by night here today gone tomorrow
  4. Nobody would ever call you back because the windows would be fitly, there would be tar lines on the gutters, mold still on the house, and by your comments you would never do anything extra for a customer.
  5. did i mention your really really full of ,
Im in business for 20 years total. 15 down streaming . I didnt say it didnt work, I said soft-washing a home is faster and better then down streaming. So they can take the word of somebody thats been in business for 20 years or the can take the word of a liar who’s broke and can afford a nice setup.

This is the second time you posted the same photo of that truck lol. I think you should just give up on trying to justify your point and go enjoy your weekend.

well its the other fly by night PW. You guys would do well working together. Two half’s of broke Pressure washers maybe can make a whole.

12v is not faster than DS.
Who charges by the hour?
You charge by the job.

Bud, I’m not one to call names–especially to people I’ve never met–but you come off as really dumb. You’re on a forum with folks (not me) who have as much OR MORE experience than you do and yet you think your way is the only way.

That truck is cute. Not nearly as cool or well setup as some others I have seen on this forum but maybe you’ll get there in 20 more years.

I’m already onto my third house of the day while you’re still scrubbing on gutter whitener at your first house.

What are tar lines on the gutters? Tiger stripes?

You only charge $150 for a 2500 sf house?

Lol exactly…also known as “oxidized gutters” Nothing to do with tar

I can see i have done what was intended. Now I can see why people call pressure washers dumb. At least you stick together and keep the stupidity among yourselves.

Lol exactly…also known as “oxidized gutters” Pat PW

I’m LMAO I see now. The gutter only oxidized in black right on the stripe. The rest of the gutter didnt oxidize. If it was oxidized you could rub the black off with your hand. Wake up before its to late and get away form this bunch.

A few internet results…

Those streaks – often referred to by industry members as “tiger stripes” – are actually
caused by a chemical reaction that occurs between the asphalt from roof shingles and
the aluminum in the gutters.

Tiger-striped gutters are dirty and look unsightly. Tiger stripes on gutters are caused from particles of algae, pollution, roofing material and dirt that stick to your gutters.

Boys you wont hear from me again. I just came here because my friend told me of this group of misfits. Just had to see for myself. He said the most of bunch throw a 1800 psi electric PW in their car and want to think they are real PW’s. Boy was he right. Later tatters.

Tell awesomewash we said hi
