Man, I think he just logged in here, got excited and started dispensing knowledge like the guys on the Facebook forum, not knowing that most of us here actually know whatā€™s going on. He probably means well.

LOL that scene is hilarious. I love when they finally get off the mini bike and heā€™s frozen to his back. Kills me everytime!

Most of us? What happened? It used to be only like 4 of us lol

Edit: Nevermind. That was people you liked. My mistake!

Now thatā€™s not very nice.

@sgb @anon37135677 @DisplacedTexan @marinegrunt You guys have opened my eyes a lot. I watched all of the Dans Vlog videos on youtube and I thought I was ready to jump in. While he provides a lot of good information for a small and unprofessional business, it is not enough. I am going to ramp up my study hours and learn how to do this more professionally. The next time you hear from me I am going to be at 100 hours at least. I do not want to be the $99 guy. I really look up to you guys.

Lol, my dad called me from Parkerā€™s yesterday. There is a pic of him there from the early 50ā€™s. Just giving you grief.

You can DS painted stucco. Iā€™ve ran into several different stucco-type substrates. No idea if the proper names but they all clean up nicely. If it is then youā€™re using the wrong office fir your gpm. If unpainted then 2-4% usually does the trick. No idea why someone is saying itā€™s too much pressure but the X-jet is perfect for stucco if you donā€™t have a 12v or similar. Get you an xjet, read the instructions and read some threads on stucco. Also search xjet mod.

I wonā€™t trash talk the Danā€™s Vlog guy because I donā€™t even know him but Iā€™ll just say this: There are far better YouTube channels related to this industry than that one. Thereā€™s a half dozen or more guys on this forum that have very informative channels that cover all different types of work. Iā€™m sure you will come across them in your research here.

Iā€™d walk away from stucco if the customer tried to tell me I couldnt use at least 3%. I wouldnt let them tell me anything actually. This forum is hands down the best resource Ive seen and I have a lot more than 60 hours tied up in research.

Read this and then search for related topics like taping off/ bagging outlets and so forth. Thereā€™s some close calls Iā€™ve read about and i dont to want to get popped when i could have prevented it.

Anyone who has watched more than one episode of his youtube shouldnā€™t be allowed to go out their house, much less try to run a business. I cringe to think about how many people he has steered wrong.
