As mentioned you definitely have to be careful where you get your information from. You need thick skin to on this forum because things won’t be sugarcoated. You won’t get told what you want to hear you’re going to be told the right way to do things. I will say this though. Plenty of guys have came to this forum and left because they got their feelings hurt but pretty much everyone who sticks around and implements the advice given has a successful pressure washing business. Listen to what people say and you will too. Reading through old threads is one of the best things you can do. You’ll end up learning info that you didn’t even know you needed. That’s why Max mentioned that so many times. It’s some of the best advice you can give.

If you want to wash faster you’re going to need a washer that can put out at least 5.5 gpm. Some guys use 4 gpm but your 2.3 gpm or whatever it is will slow you down and is inefficient. It’ll be hard to do more than one house wash a day with that thing when you could be doing 3-4+.

Yes Sir,
I will buy a 5.5 or an 8 as soon as I have enough money saved up to get the buffer tank and trailer that go along with it. I read in a thread that houses only safely put out 4 gpm so I will need the buffer tank. In the mean time, as soon as my PW stops working I am going to start renting a 4gpm or get one cheap somewhere untill I have enough money.
