Mini mondo vs mondo vs big guy

you can just send WW the pic I posted, they’ll know what to do.

I placed the order before I saw these responses but I purchased with 2502 nozzles. I’ll get some 4002’s Incase I have the stripe in the center of the swivels.

Also I called whisper wash and they didn’t want to talk to me when it came to the order, they said they care about their distributors and if I wanted anything custom, I had to tell Lori and she would tell them. Weird but, Lori and I had a conversation over the phone and she has it taken care of. Getting the same thing you have pretty much, I’ll go ahead and get a spare Knob and those tips

The imeg tips with the vanes are cheaper at KEC than at WW, by a couple of dollars each. They haven’t built it yet, you can order it with the nozzles you want.

I’m not understanding the point of the 40’s.

@qons there is space between the two bars as they rotate, which leaves a fine line right down the middle of the deck. The 40 degree nozzels span that gap.

@Racer I have noticed with the 40 degree that my cleaning power is greatly reduced, no matter how or when I treat the concrete. I have to move very slow now because of it. Maybe having the first 100 ft of hose be 1/2 would help?

If introducing 1/2 to existing 3/8 or smaller, you lose psi.

Are the wheels adjustable? Could you lower the deck slightly to get a little closer to the surface?

Do you have a pressure gauge? What are you getting at the pump, vs at the surface cleaner/gun? That will determine whether the amount of pressure loss might justify larger hoses. But in most instances, 1/2” hose is more trouble than its worth (from everything I’ve read, anyway).

Because I run higher pressure when I’m using it, found I get a little less striping with the 40’s, plus found I can go slightly faster.

I 've never had a problem with the middle even with the stock tips.

What nozzles are you using? Are you using the imeg? Check your height, at 1.5" the 40’s spread is about 1/2" more. What psi are you running? Mine actually cleans great with the 40’s but I’m usually using hotwater when I’m using it too, so that helps some.

Well when I receive it I’m going to test as is. I ordered with 2502’s. Total of 4 nozzles. I also ordered 4 4002’s in case I have any problems with 25 degree. I’ll test the 25 vs 40 degree tips and see if there’s a great difference. I’ll be using hot water with mine too and between 100-250 ft of hose.

Ok, so I put the 2502s back in and had no problems the other day, so idk what was going on before but it does seem to be an issue now. Cleaning power was good too and I could move faster. I know it was leaning stripes before right the middle and it required pressure to get them up, so idk. Works good now though!I :thinking:

Well Rick, it’s in! Very nice. Put in 2502’s since I have 300 ft of hose on my reel. As promised I’ll test tomorrow and see how the 25’s perform.

I need to figure out where to mount this thing on my rig though and keep the rig balanced. I plan to have a 2 level aluminum shelf built right there for a second washer and the softwash unit and stack it as I lack floor space. I may just put a bar across the back and mount it there. We’ll see

Bigger surface cleaners are nice until you have to figure out where to put them. I just set inside rear gate if using with trailer and if using with truck system have one of those aluminum carriers I have to mount and put it on.

I’m going to mount it on the back side across the upper half using a steel bar and some U channels like I did for my surface cleaner. Drill a hole through and use a trailer lock and a trailer pin to secure it in there like my classic is

Or you could build your platform with a lower shelf, say about a foot high and then your shelf for your other machine to sit on, then it could just roll under lower shelf. But may make your top shelf higher than you want, not that it would hurt anything.

That’s a great idea. Good thing I got the flip handle because it would only fit completely in the perimeter of the trailer if I folded the handle in. Thanks for the idea  less height to lift it off the ground to secure it as well.

Plus remember, you won’t probably be carrying all the time. For day to day and even pretty good sized residential I use my Aqua Pro. I haven’t used my Classic in probably a year. the only reason I keep it is for a backup or if for some reason I needed to use it the 4gpm machine. Takes at least 7gpm to float the aqua pro.

Turn 'em sideways

I don’t have any room for it to sit sideways anywhere unless it’s up on the ladder rack

They worked great. I also attached my pressure gauge to check the psi with 2502’s and with 300 feet of hose I was at 2200. Felt slightly on the lighter side for me, but if I only use 200 feet of hose, I should get around 2500 psi or 2800 with 100 ft which I believe is a good balance between residential and commercial concrete.
