Mini mondo vs mondo vs big guy

I have no idea what that is. Never had that. Obviously while you’re running you get somewhat of a trail of dirty water in the middle but that’s the excess water on edge where the 2 spinners come together.
What tips are you running? You using the WW tips? I run the 4002 on mine

What’s with the wheel? Shouldn’t be anywhere near rubbing. Did you get the wheels modified like I suggested?

@Racer Rick, I thought it might be the same with excess water maybe just leaving a trail, but required pressure to clean it off so it can’t be that.

I misunderstood your previous advice and thought you modified it yourself and I had planned to do that myself, but now I see that was incorrect.

I switched from the factory tips as I was getting almost 3000 psi down to 2503 tips which brought me down to about 2000. I felt like the factory tips were taking some of the cream off and the 2503s were better, but I’ll check to see what came with it. Maybe they ate 40° and I just assumed it’d be 25 since that’s what most people use. I run a tsf2021 off a gx690.

@DJPWS No worries Dustin, it seems your inclination was correct per @Racer, so I’m going to see which tips came with it as I don’t remember that line with the tips it came with. Otherwise I need to find a dirty driveway to test out the factory tips.

To me, leaving line down the middle is an unacceptable design flaw for a $1,700 piece of equipment given that is much more than most of the market for that item. If it can’t be fixed that’s a problem for me.

Just curious, why don’t you like to change tips? @Atlas1

Have you been constantly been using the mini and just going back to redo that line?

It came with 2502’s. The part # for the 4002s is #301. I was getting a few lines with the 2502’s, not nearly as big a problem with 4002’s I’m running same machine you are. Since I use mine almost exclusively for commercial I wanted higher pressure but 03’s with 4 nozzles seems mighty low. I’d go with the 4002.5. But I’m running with 250’ of hose so that pulls mine down another 150 psi if you’re running 200’

You can do the wheels yourself, but for the money I just had them do it, took them about 2 days longer to ship, that way I knew it’d be right.

He’s got the Mondo

Makes sense. Mine will be mostly residential. Any benefit of WW nozzels over a standard Meg? I’ll be ordering today or tomorrow because I can’t stand that line!

You always want a flat spray nozzle on your surface cleaner plus I like having the vanes in them. You want the IMEG ones which WW has

Whisper wash. They’re like about 7.50 @

Thanks Rick

I run the 25’s on everything else. But yes, I agree with you.

@Racer Hey Rick, just wanted to say a quick thanks, I got those tips and the mini works so much better! I also feel like I can move just a bit faster, but that may be in my head.

@Racer , or anyone really, been getting more commercial flat work recently in the 10k sq/ft range. The 19 inch classic is killing me lol… I’ve been looking into the 48 mundo, 31 Mini mundo, 28 big guy, and 24 aqua pro. I’m stuck but leaning more towards the big guy or mini mundo. Have any
Opinions ?

I can’t speak to the 48, 31, or 28 but I did recently purchase a 24" ground force (to pair with my 19" WW). I was hesitant to only upgrade 5" but the difference is quite noticeable for us. If you’re doing a lot of large concrete though you may want to go bigger.

If I did get the mini mundo, I’d custom order and ask if they can put the foldable handle on it for easier storage in my rig

Go with the Mini and get them to move the wheels in about an inch on each side

Move them in an inch so it’s more in front and behind the body vs on the sides? Just making sure I understand correctly

yep - you can order it from Lori, but call WW direct and explain what you want. That way you won’t drop wheels off edge so easy and tear up bar.
Look closely and you can see where original holes were. They fill them in with something to keep water from shooting up thru them. 2nd photo you can see mind with the aqua pro foldable handle,

That exactly what I want right there. I like that design. Also, it looks like they put rivets in the holes to fill them.

So call lori and have her order the mini mundo. Then call whisper wash and tell them my order and how I want it customized with the aqua pro handle and the casters moved infront and behind the swivel.

Working with Lori on the order. I have 2502 tips for the order as well. Do you have a problem with the 25 degree at all or is it able to cover the space between the 2 swivels

You got it. Think it only took them 3-4 days to do and of course she’s right there. Also, because with commercial I run a little more pressure than I do residential I’m running 4002 tips. So they can put those in to and get you some spares nozzles. Get you a spare one of the knobs that you break the handle down with. I’ve had one work loose and lost it though I typically check it everytime just to make sure.
