Micro Trailer Build: 4GPM, 4,000PSI 3.5 x 4ft

Here is my first fixed trailer build that I just finished. It is super small but, I am really proud of it. And I am so happy that I don’t have to lift the PW in and out of my SUV. I thought I was going to throw my back out.

Here are some specs, I have a pressure reel that should hold at least 100 foot of 3/8" hose, and I currently have 100 feet of garden hose on the other reel. I think I have enough room on both reels to increase my lengths.
The trailer itself is light enough that I can move it with one hand easily.
I have paid off all my equipment and profited enough to take this next small step. I look forward to the next job.
Previously, I had no reels, was lifting my PW in and out of my SUV, and just jamming all my hoses in. It was awful and not professional. But, I did what I had to do when I could not afford anything better.
Now I am another step ahead.

Turn the hitch over to level out the trailer.

You’ll need a hell of a breaker bar or impact to loosen the ball. If you use that hitch for a delifferent trailer just go buy another hitch that would level it out.

Would definitely look better leveled out!

Good starter rig for ya!

Exactly this. I know it is not ideal for every job possible, but I needed something professional looking that I could do an average house wash with. I have almost no room for upgrading this, but I will probably get a larger trailer next year, maybe keep this setup for an employee.

Also buy a new set of safety chains. You should have 2 and cross them under. That way if the tongue comes loose it’s cradled.

I only see 1 rusty chain that’s way to long and mounted too far back on the tongue

Thank you again. I had no idea. This whole business, I am just researching online and hoping I am doing it right. So far, no major problems.

Put your logo and phone number all over that little trailer.

It’s a $75 ticket here if you are caught with 1 or no chains. Also same ticket for no pin in the latch.

YES! That is what I plan to do. Something like my pole carrier that you can see on top of my SUV

Good to know, I do have a pin in the latch, but only one chain. Unfortunately, I am a city boy, and know absolutely nothing about trailers.

But, I did install the hitch all by myself!

Can you see the trailer in your rear view mirror when backing up or is the trailer too low? Small trailers like that like to hide when you back up!

But I’ve seen city people just circle the block before they would try backing a trailer lol

Did my first back up ever today. I cant see the trailer, but I can see the PW frame handle in the rear view. I did pretty good with the wifey helping out. lol

One more week before my self imposed watermelon in the pond ban is over. Tongue is bleeding.

Search on amazon for snow plow markers. Bolt one to each corner of the back of the trailer.

How did I know that?

Anyone care to enlighten me? I know I am new.

Doing this for sure, Thanks again!!!

Id switch sides with the pressure hose and water supply. Is machine secured down?

Edit: how can you reel them up with no room? That machine will be super hot. Maybe a bracket to elevate them, shouldnt be hard to do.
