Micro Trailer Build: 4GPM, 4,000PSI 3.5 x 4ft

And as for the confusion…

He made a promise to himself he wouldn’t raz anyone for a couple weeks. My best guess would be the “having the wifey” help me comment. I’m sure he wanted to give you a hard time…

Think skin and an open mind in these parts lol

Agreed! Keep pw hose on curbside.

Without understanding exactly what IBS was referring to. I am by no means fly-by-night. I have been window cleaning for 20 years, and in the last 2 years I have finally gone solo. No more subcontracting, just building my own business.
For some reason, there has been a natural demand for pressure washing that I have tried to fill incrementally. I have bought crappy equipment, done work, bought better equipment, done work, etc.
I may be small, but I am not fly-by-night.
I hope IBS does not mistake my conservative nature for being cheap and unskilled.

No implication you were fly by nite. It was an example of things that get folks riled up. You don’t appear that way.

The machine is not anchored yet, but I don’t really know why I would switch the machine and reels. The hot parts of the engine and the exhaust do not affect the hoses and the reels are just perfect for reeling up. There is not an inch to spare, but it does work just fine.

Also, I need to be able to take out the machine for servicing.

He’s saying that because when you pull up to a house in the road “curbside” it’s easier to pull the pw hose since it’s longer and stiffer off the passenger side. It’s not about anything other than ergonomics

Ok, got it. Or I can just drive on the wrong side of the road…Joking.

That can also get you a ticket…

Yes, you can get a ticket for parking on the wrong side of the road.
It’s called “parking too far from the curb”.
Think about it…
Ask me how I know…

Or, “left tires to curb”, depending on how your jurisdiction words it…

I love your little rig. Especially the lettering on the pole tube. Very clever. Keep up the good work, keep tweaking and improving. That’s what it’s all about.

Haha I was waiting for it. Maybe Canada has a different view of professional.

That lawnmower trailer is not safe…

You having a hard night?

No, having a great night. Honestly think your better off keeping everything packed in the suv until you can buy a real trailer. I have a trailer that size I pull behind my lawnmower.

Did you miss the part where I thought I was hurting my back? Good for you that you have a trailer this size for whatever. I am not a big shot like you, but I am working to build my business, without damaging my back anymore.

I’m no big shot…out of most on here that do this full time I use simple cheap equipment… 2 x 4 gpm machines and x jets. But…I’m just saying are you sure that thing is rated for the road?

Was that your concern??? Yes my DMV is happy with it.

what equipment do you have on that trailer? Can’t see if that 4GPM+ or not. A big trailer does not a profesional make. It’s what your services are that make a business. So, what they appear to be saying, if you put that same equipment on a tandem 7K trailer you become a professional. Don’t worry about that.
Keep up the good work, guy, you will do fine. Cheers to ya!
