Markate CRM Reviews

The issue was to ATT phones, text not going through

Maybe not any “active” complaints, but there are complaints. I talked to Stephanie about 2 weeks ago, and I will admit that she tested it and sent one to herself and it worked. But I’m still not convinced it’s fixed and working correctly. I will say, I did renew the feature, but I also told her that if I didn’t see results I would be calling and asking for a refund.

If you are referring to the review feature, it’s way more issues than just att texts not going through. I send everything as an email and never saw the first notification that it was even viewed. Well let me correct that. If I went in and sent one manually I would occasionally get a notification. Even then it wasn’t every time. I find it strange that my estimates and invoices get viewed every single time but they overlook the review emails? Like don’t even open them? I don’t buy that at all. It’s a flawed system that hopefully they have fixed.

Yea, it’s been working since that day I threw a fit. After I got on the phone with Scott he listened and understood what I was saying mire then whatever employees were on the Facebook group. Have you checked all of the settings?

LOL, That’s like 50% of the phones in existence.

Yes, I do it manually though. ThT may be a separate issue

I’m seeing a troubling pattern here.

All software platforms experience growing pains. But not all software developers have an attitude of denial when confronted with possible bugs.

HCP has been far from perfect. But one of the things that has kept me on board with them, is that they (usually) own up to their shortcomings and are pretty good about listening to customer feedback.

I’ve only had one problem with Customer Factor and that’s my emails going to spam with a particular email provider. My second problem became their customer service rep accusing me of not following her instructions and offering an alternative instead of trying to fix the problem. If she blew smoke up my rear end and said working on it I wouldn’t have even made this thread. I forget sometimes how important Customer service is.

I’ve only ever talked to Steve when I’ve called for assistance. Is he using someone new for his customer service now?

I have called probably 6 times and never gotten Steve. Always Julia or Stephanie.

Hello Corey ~ I’m sorry to hear this and would really like to speak with you about why you feel this way. Having excellent customer service is very important to us and I would love to discuss your feedback on what’s changed. Is there a good time to call? Please let me know. Thank you and Happy New Year! Julia

Hi Brad ~ I tried calling and I know it’s a Monday and you’re busy, but if you wouldn’t mind calling me back at your convenience I would really appreciate it! 480.360.1360. Thank you and Happy New Year! Have a fantastic day! Julia

@SurfaceTherapy Sorry to confuse the subject. I was talking about calling CF. I don’t use Markate.

Ok, I have to add to my comments above. I just had a lengthy conversation with Julia at Markate, and have to admit I do feel better about the situation. I completely understand people or companies going through growing pains and can only hope that’s what’s been happening. The phone call earlier is the Julia and the customer service I had come to expect since signing up with Markate. I can deal with issues and with bugs here and there, I just expect the customer service to always be on point and Julia confirmed today why I signed up with them in the first place. Thanks @JuliaMarkate for taking the time to reach out to me and for taking my concerns seriously.

Where’s my call?

I’ve had my run ins and issues with Markate. They can be stubborn and frustrating to talk to. I tend to get worked up quickly and can be very rude. They have never once shown an ounce of frustration with me, regardless of how much of an ■■■ I was being. They have always delt with the issues I’ve had and escalated them up the chain as needed. Sometimes I’ve had to make more of an effort than I wanted to but that’s life. They have earned our business baring something catastrophic… like a giant blue button in the middle.of the screen!

Just had a lengthy call with Julia. Very helpful.
I also wanted to put my number 1 concern about this software here.
Whenever I receive a phone call from a potential customer, I copy the number, and go to Markate to add this number to my contacts.
What bothers me is, Markate does not recognize a phone number that starts with +1.
For example, if the customer’s number is (222) 333-4567, it shows on my call history as +1 (222) 333-4567. I copy that, go to Markate, and past the number, well, Markate accepts the paste and record the number as (122) 233-3456. It deletes the last digit! Plus, it doesn’t allow me to move my cursor to the front and edit from the beginning. It only allows me to delete from the last digit. Super annoying…
Am I only person who does this kind of operation on a daily basis??

Again, it was a very nice conversation with Julia. And I will stay with Markate. It is much easier to use comparing to other software I have tried.
