I’ve used an xjet M5 Twist up to this point, finally got fed up with hauling that stupid bucket around and was told I can buy an inexpensive injector and continue to work with the M5.
Just wondering, can I run 200’ of hose using it, and what would the percentage of SH being applied with a 4/4 machine at 12%?
Just over 1% if you run straight SH with just soap, not really needed that strong on most homes. My 4/4 pulls 9-1. Test yours. But that gives me about 1.1.-1.2 net %.
I use 200 ft of hose. When I had a 4/4 I pulled 9:1 with a 3-5gom injector. Downstreaming is so easy. It’s good to flush your injector with water at the end of the job and it will last a long time.
Don’t buy a m5ds. Do the mod and save $$. It cost me about $5.00 (already had the 18in lance) to mod my x-jet and enables me to use the m5 while DS. I actually thought you said you modified yours already.
Look at the post again. My point to you is that you can save $$$ by not having to purchase the m5ds. If you did the mod you would already be able to use it while DS. Unless you took it apart and put it back to the way it originally was. If you didn’t, you did not do the mod correctly.
a new m5ds nozzle like 30min worth of work. Would take me longer to mess with modifying the other. It’s a nozzle. Doesn’t hurt to have more than one of different types.
I hate to disagree with you but it literally took less than 5 minutes and cost about $5.00. To each their own I guess. I’m just trying to help him save money and time. Why have 2 when you can use 1 for both while saving time and money.
I’ve been using and undersized m5ds. I’m using a 5-7 on my 8. I prefer it this way. Seems like I get more distance and better rinsing yet still gentle enough imo
