Kuri tek keeps kinking on the reel

Im running 280 feet of that. It will only kink if its twisted up and i pull hard on it. Do you have a street 45 on that hose reel? It will keep it close to the reel and not let it kink.

Interesting, I got that tip from pwp

You could also slide 12” of 1” suction hose at the end . That would prevent it from bending

Field experience will always trump hearsay.
That the biggest problem with vendors. They rarely have field experience.

You got some fast fingers billy:joy::joy::joy:

Both hoses I bought developed pin holes very quickly. Ended up killing plants and sod . The holes were so small I didn’t notice them.

I use mine about 6 times a year. Not used enough to damage.

Edit posted wrong link

I drag mine up roofs and down roads every day they flextech is some tough stuff.
I bought it from Lori . I ordered another roll of kuritech and they accidentally sent her flextech. I figured I’d give it a shot since I needed it that day. 300’ of 3/4 . I still have it and still use it on big apartment buildings. It’s at least 7 years old .

Vendors USUALLY do the best they can . But they all lack the key ingredient. So they rely on what others say. Considering most guys are out of business in less than a year. It’s certainly a crap shoot at best when your forced to listen to others

I know this first hand working retail. When someone ask me a question about something i didnt know i would tell them what another customer told me about the product.

The street 45 fitting should take care of your problem.

I just recently bought the Flex tech 5/8’’ and I absolutely hate it. It kinks all the time. It’s kinked more in past month than my Kuri tec did in 3 years. Like an idiot I sold it to Grizz, now getting ready to buy Kuri tec again. I’ll keep the Flex Tech for when I run my gas operated pump, but for day in day out use with 12v rather have my 1/2" Kuri Tec.

Really? i was just getting used to reeling that heavy 5/8s in

Im guessing there are different types of kuri tec hose.
Just got this from pressuretek

!

That’s the same stuff that’s on the feed line on the gas machine. It’s the worst of the bunch.

Stumbled on this:

https://shop.pressurewasherproducts.com/1-2-X-1-FLEXZILLA-SOFTWASH-HOSE-BARE-HOSE-FZ08.htm

I’ve been looking at different hoses for whenever I get my soft wash reel setup. I’ve always liked the flexzilla products, but was concerned that it wasn’t specifically designed for what we do. But it appears that none of the products recommended so far really are designed for the soft wash business. They’re for AG spraying or whatever. Flexzilla seems like it would be just as good as any of the other options, and I already know how it behaves on the reel and at various temperatures.

Amazon has a little better pricing:
