Kuri tek keeps kinking on the reel

My 5/8 kuri tech kinks more than my 1/2 poly braid did lol.

Air hose is what some of the old trucks(70’s) used for a fuel line from tank to engine mounted fuel pumps and still going strong.

They both can kink the only difference is it causes pin holes in kuritech. Doesn’t seem to bother the flextech

You think the 12volt would keep a steady pressure to keep it from kinking?

Pretty much any hose will kink under the right (wrong?) circumstances. It’s about how it behaves overall and its resistance to wear and pinholes.

So far the 100’ of flexzilla I have on my wfp reel is holding up great. Doesn’t kink very easily at all. My flexzilla garden hoses are holding up well, too.

Here is your $1 cure

Get a 1ft piece of car hose. Like small radiator hose. Slice it down side. Wrap it around first foot of hose on reel. Zip tie it to your hose in 4 spots. Bam no more kinks. Learned that in comment section of some hose reels I was looking at.

I’m pretty sure I didn’t do it first or thought of it myself. I probably seen it somewhere years ago .
I does solve the problem that’s for sure

I think any thinking Man did this about a week after having the problem

@SchertzServicesLLC I can’t remember if I put a 45 on my cox reel with the kuritec or not, but for some reason I want to say the cox reel had the proper angle for this one from the get go. Never had the problem either
