I wish we’ve had the same experience with the Hannays. Unfortunately mine have all gone bust in 6 months to 1 year from purchase. I purchased a total of 6 Hannays. Currently 4 are just holding hose because manifolds are leaking… We don’t do anything crazy with them either, just downstream 12.5 and always rinse them out… I know there’s a Stainless manifold version of the hannays which runs close to $1k … but I’ll give Kings or Bobs reels a try before I drop $1k for a manual stainless hannay

I’ve got a dozen or more $300 hannays with no problems. Granted the newer models are riveted instead of bolted together and probably other cheapness

you could probably make the manifold for less than 100.

Not sure if it’s worth the time… seems like I can just buy a King/Bob for the same price. I may order two from bob and two from kings and I’ll report back…
I know this is an older thread, but who or what is Bob? I am searching for new hose reels for a skid build and have been trying to figure things out to order in the next 2 or 3 weeks.
Bob = Pressuretek = Outstanding vendor to deal with.
