Kevlar hose, opinions?

I’m thinking he see’s the pits of dirt/pine needles, and on the right screen it could look like copper wire.

Reminds me of my childhood. I do miss NC. I was born in Elizabeth City, now living in NW Ohio.

I won the swan lottery one year and went to Elizabeth City to hunt. Walked 500 ft thru mud in artic wind and cold, stepped in a hole up to my shoulders, flooded my waders, thought I was going to freeze to death. Guys pulled me out, I threw a Condor Supreme in the river, shucked my waders and ran/crawled back thru the mud to the trucks. I have never been so cold. Unless someone found it, there’s a decent shotgun in Big Flatty Creek to this day.

I didn’t see the pic clearly on my phone I think.

But, I still don’t understand the color of the hose, is it caked in mud or something?

Not really. Just a grey hose.

@Innocentbystander , Do you know a fella named Hal brown in your neck of the woods?

He’s about an hour away. I’ve talked to him for years on the forums but haven’t met him. I think he does a lot of fleet washing and made a two step gun of some type long before most knew what one was.

Yeah I know him from fleet washing sites as well, speaks highly of you and Bob from pressuretek. I plug Bobs site when ever i get the chance and your name came up. Small world.

I do miss PT State. That place was awesome.

I sure would like to see the one he had made up. I’ve been working full time on my version for the past month. @Hotshot gets the first one

I have not forgotten about your barbs, they are coming in soon with some other custom parts

I figured this was tangentially related to the Kevlar hose discussion:

Anyone try Flexzilla pressure hose yet? I’ve been quite happy with their garden hose and air hoses. Just interested to see if anyone’s given their pressure hose a shot yet

Didn’t know that was even a thing. If it flattens on a reel like the other hose, then no thanks.

I imagine it has a little more reinforcement than their standard garden hoses.

Also, I keep some pressure in the supply hoses so they don’t collapse on the reel.

It’ll hold more hose off you drain the hose as you reel it in. But then, my hose reels aren’t plumbed

Well, thanks to @Infinity I feel obligated to purchase this hose. Legacy Manufacturing HFZPW426100Q Pressure Washer Hose 100 ft. | JB Tools

When my next section blows I may just try it out. I just put a 100-ft on last month and a 50-ft the month before that.

I seem to remember a thread on this a couple years back. Lowes has a 100’ section with fittings for $211.

The link I have above :point_up_2: is less expensive with free shipping if I read it correctly.

Can I ask what color your kevlar hose is? It kind of sounds like the black standard one while not marketed as non-marking is actually non-marking and more durable than the non-marking grey one…

I have the non marking grey hose.
