Kevlar hose, opinions?

BluBird BluShield KEVLAR braided Pressure Washer hose is offered in Both Black and Gray, in 35’, 50’, and 100’ Lengths. Gray is considered non-marking.

Thanks for sharing, appreciate it.

Thank you. Just placed an order of a 100’ section of the non-marking grey from you guys. I had already placed an order of another 100’ of standard 1-wire hose from another vendor due to the time pinch. It’ll be interesting to compare the performance and durability of side to side.

It does flatten, it’s also for cold water only. With that being said, it’s the first pw hose I’ve ever seen with a warranty, and it’s 2 years! It’s also made in USA which is pretty cool. may keep some of this on the truck where space is limited as a spare in a pinch.

You gonna be the guinea pig for us Sean?

Not at that price lol. I get 100’ gray non-marking 2 wire 6000 psi for $160 with 1 day shipping for $30

You’re running 2 wire?? Good grief.

I went to two wire last year and damn it wears me out. I may try the Kevlar but will be moving back to single wire or Kevlar. I’m too old for that heavy hoses

So far I have had zero issues with the kevlar hose that I’m running. I have 100ft of it attached to reel and 50ft of hose (what the pressure washer came with) after.

I have an extra 100ft for the eventual demise of my hose. I’m by no means a pro but so far it is holding up well. It definitely doesn’t kink up like that earlier picture so I think you just got lucky.

I just went to 2 wire as well. We will see how it goes!

What’s weird is wasting money and time replacing 1 wire before the season runs out lol. However, before I knew what the h*el I was doing, I also used to frequently run the machine at full heat. I switched over to 2 wire shortly before I realized that is rarely needed. Maybe the 1 wire would of been fine.

The “integrated” quick connects concern me a little if they are not SS.

Stainless quick connects are unnecessary. The wire in hose isn’t stainless, most nozzles are brass. I’ve made it a couple of decades without spending the money on them

Stainless is harder than brass and lasts longer, found that out after my first year.

Just had my second hose burst (after about 1.5 years) so I ordered 2 x 200’ of the Kevlar mentioned above. New construction is probably harder on hoses than anything else so I’ll let you know how it goes.

Are you getting the 1 wire or 2 wire?

My kevlar hose lasted only a couple of minutes before it blew. Good luck
