Yeah, it’s not as fast to clean up and swap out fittings but I have been using battery post cleaner tools for fittings for years now and that seems to scrape all that old loctite right out of there pretty well. The blue stuff shouldn’t require any heat to remove. The red is a different story. That stuff means bidness.

Tape on the pressure fittings, dope on the low pressure, don’t need both, especially on the hp. I’ve got a mix of white, blue and gray tape, just whatever I grab out of the tool box. They all work fine.

Do you know if it’s got any Nickel in it or is it just Gray for “fun”. I ask because the 4 mil with Ni is the best for SS

So the bane of my existence was a ladder setup. It was probably not a smart idea to think i could carry one inside out of the elements. The intent was there but practical application wasn’t doing it for me. So here’s what I did…
I’ve been using an adjustable a frame ladder but bit the bullet and got a 28ft extension ladder. I will probably buy a smaller one as well as that thing is a little unwieldy but will see how it goes.
Rack is an Amazon special that I had cut down and my buddy helped weld me a ring in order to better secure with Bungie cords.

NO offense, but bungee cords suck so get lashing straps instead. They have a weight rating and they don’t wear out as quickly, vs. bungee which seems to fall apart from the sun. rope tying gets old quick and lashing straps are fast, just finish off with a half hitch after tightening.

Good to know. I have some smaller ratchet straps I can use. I swapped over to some less cheesy straps after some photos but still not satisfied. This setup was for ladder fitment purposes only. Had to make sure I could squeeze a friend into the rig 
I have that same ladder. It is a beast to move around once extended. I rarely ever use it because of that. I have one of those werner 22’ multi ladders that gets me through 99.9% of my uses and it folds up and fits easily in the bed of my truck
That’s funny. I own that one too. Hated extending it and putting it on roof. It’s really convenient around the house though.
You need a bigger truck so your ladder will fit inside, lol. You’re going to hurt someone with that thing sticking out the back that far.

That ladder was sticking out sn it for sure but it was extended a little. I think It’s longer than truck by a rung or two. Not nearly as bad as it looks!
I don’t really enjoy rolling around with that 28 for everything so will buy a shorter 22 which shouldn’t hang over. Apparently I’m collecting ladders now
Check out gentili ladder racks. We have them on both our box trucks. Very easy to use

Yes. I’ve got a gas Midwest system that was given to me to try but it’s only real practical use is on tennis courts. It gets used about 4 times a year
