My wife is active duty air force but for 10 of those years I was in rural South Georgia and North Florida. I was a payroll accountant for many years at a university in north Florida while residing in Ga.
I have never advertised nor have I needed work. When I am pumping gas people are so intrigued by the set up they ask. Door magnets and business cards have been my only advertising.
I don’t even have a website. I am never sure how long we will be in one area.
These are basic but I make donations and advertise at charity events. Like the golf function above. You will be surprised at the visibility and it’s an inexpensive way to get the name out there.
You’re looking at $300-325 for house wash only. (Located in central Florida)
I would say that’s about 3 hours including clean up and prep. I would try to upsell the driveway for another $50-75 depending on how long it is. A maintain cleaning every year I would be at $250-275.
Im in West Tenn that whole deal is a $500 price in my book… not a penny less… if that guy with his $250 pw gets it fine, Front and Back all the siding and brick walk way in the front…
I would not touch it less than that…And I have LOST A FEW jobs with my higher price but that is OK. Cant get them all
You should try and get the deck added in. That looks like unstained wood and if you get any house wash on it it will lighten up in spots and be very ugly. If it’s got some water based product on it then just disregard this, I can’t tell from the picture.
Garbage! With a rig like that you easily justify $100/hr. I charge that for my pick up and 4k/4gpm. Right now I’d say you’re underselling yourself. If you give the perception that you’re only worth $50/hr, guess what you’re worth? That’s right, $50.
No argument here. I understand what you are saying. Most rigs are winterized and parked right now and I am still working. With a full time job; I have to give work to my friend.
You are absolutely correct. No negative rebuttal here. I appreciate your feed back sir. @MrSparkleVA
Thank you sir.
I knew if they saw my work they would be pleased. The neighbor wasn’t even talking money. He wants what his neighbor had just gotten.
I didn’t want to do it but something kept telling me to do it and I picked up two more from the one deal. I try to build a minimal rapport with the customer to establish trust. Then, when ever your services are discussed in their presence; they will chime in with your praise, admiration, and respect. The best marketing tool is quality and timely work. I have a problem with trying to perfect things. The client notices when you take pride in what you do. Not just in your appearance in manner of dress and your set up, but mainly in the quality of your results.
This world doesn’t care about methods all it is interested in are “RESULTS”
