It's Another Logo... opinions?

That’s awesome… I guarantee if the woman of the house is making the call, “50 Shades of Spray” would be the first and only company she would call for an estimate. They like those movies even more than the Lifetime channel.

Lol, go for it! If I used that business name my wife would tie me up alright, but only to make it easier to throw my dead body in the river…

I was going to use the name “Soggy Bottom Boys Pressure Washing” once after watching “O Brother Where Art Thou?” Had a cartoon logo made with a guy in wet overalls and a pw wand in his hand, but my whole family threatened to change their last names if I did. Can’t win.

They never let us put our “great ideas” to work.

Last thing I need is for my wife to think of that rich stud from the movie every time she sees the business name…lol. I’ve never seen the movie but the preview I saw on tv was enough for me to know I wanted nothing to do with them. Then again, we’ve been married 15 years so it could be a good thing.

A cabinet maker I know names all his equipment. His drum sander is Sandra Burns. That made me laugh like a child… but 50 shades of spray made me laugh like a middle aged woman on girls night.

All my trucks and machines have names. The kids name my trucks so I’ve had spongebob, Larry Moe and curley, patches etc. Machines are named after grandmothers until i ran out of grandmoms and now they have Callie, Callie 2 etc

My two pressure washers are called “hay maker” and “rope-a-dope.” Hay Maker never goes down so we make hay with it, and Rope-A- Dope likes to break the pull cord every time I desperately need it to start.

We’ve named our rigs Swamp Thang and Gator Bite.

Might also consider what will be most easily printed on different mediums for marketing: shirts, business cards, mugs, magnets, etc. Totally agree that simple is better, while allowing elements of the logo to explain what you do as well. Having a house in your logo implies that you clean houses, bubbles imply washing vs vacuuming or whatever, kinda silly examples. Ultimately, you know your business and market so design what will attract people in your market. We have a senior community <1 mile from my house with ~100 double wide units, easy work, so I have door hangers targeting them separate from the normal ones.

I just got my Logo made from Fiverr. Looking at some of these it seems like they may all share some common files. Anyway, does anyone know how I can get the hex color code from my image so I can make my website colors to match? Thanks!

Search for ‘page color picker’ It’s an extension you can add to your browser. Once you do, just pull up pic of logo and take it and hover over color you want to see and click and it will pop up and tell you. Think it’s by ‘ColorZilla’. Search for both

Thank you!

@Skip check out @AquaTeamPowerWash logo above. Also, look at all the logos in @DoubleH’s comment and the links @racer posted.

The logos you remember are always two contrasting colors. By the rules of logo design my logo isn’t a good one, but Scott’s, Midwestwaterways is about as perfect as it gets IMO.

@FATJOE when your elephant pees, does its trunk pressure drop?

:unamused:Everybody knows elephants can only spray with 1 hose at a time.
