What size is that tank? I ask because that’s alot of weight on the steer axle when the majority of it could be on the rear. The one tons don’t have the springs for it. I would have wanted the tank where the hot machine is currently. Have you ever scaled the truck to see if you’re exceeding the front GAWR?
About 2k for the wrap and install. Seems like the price has gone up lately. It wasn’t much more to do my quad cab that had a bed on it.

It’s a 325. That truck is a tank. It was a 13,000lb box truck before I cut the box off of it. That water tank ain’t hurting it. That hot water machine weighs 1,400 also and I don’t drive around with a full tank unless I’m doing something small that doesn’t have a water supply.
Full tank 3k lbs, hot unit 1,400lbs yep I would have flipped them. Look at any load calculator with your front and rear GAWR and it will tell you the same thing.
