Injector with check valve

I never rinse them out and they last forever. I buy a new one the beginning of every season.

I bought a garden sprayer in a jam one time. It lasted a week with chems. Its lost pressure and started to hiss when I pumped it up.

I buy the 2 gallon for my bleach and the 1 gallons for all the other less used stuffā€¦ I havenā€™t really looked into changing the wand out and didnt realize the 1 gallon wand was completely different, does it not use a spring like the 2 gallon?

I donā€™t think it uses a spring. I looked into getting a certain spring about a week ago. Theyā€™re pretty cheap for a small spring. Most places have a $35 minimum but you could pickup a handful of injector springs too. Youā€™ll need a pair of calipers to measure. They measure length, width, number of coils, middle of coil to middle of coil, pitch (space between coils), compression weight, and gauge of wire. All of that for a little springā€¦lol. Iā€™m sure as long as itā€™s close itā€™ll work.

35 dollars in pump sprayer springs would last past my future kidsšŸ˜‚ Iā€™ve honestly been very lucky with my injector. Lasted 2 seasons so far never been rinsed with water after, but Iā€™m thinking about a dual barb w/ proportioners or this check valve thingā€¦ but im not clear about it, racer said that it pulled 20% less mix at first but mentioned later it pulls 20% more mix?

The 20% less was using an old injector (4-5 mos old), which for some reason, even though the same, pulled less. Put it on a new one and got the 20% more. Tested it a couple of different times.

I used the stainless check valve from Doug Ruckers store on my 2.1 high draw injector with my 8.6 gpm machine today. It definitely draws more mix than without it. Itā€™s a keeper for me. Now I want to see how long it lasts.

I didnā€™t really think about the loss of downstreaming strength when increasing GPMā€™s. Guess thatā€™s the one downside. Even going down to a 1.8 injector, you might get more mix but you get less flow.

Iā€™d like one of these when I get my 8gpm setup as long as it does indeed outlast the regular injectors. But does it outlast the Dultmeier injector? Does it draw more then the Dultmeier injector with the strongest proportioned tip? We have some tests to conduct!

I didnā€™t like the Dultmeier because I was worried the nipple would break. I never tried it though. I tried using a 1.8 on my 8 gallon and it was a significant loss if flow. Too much to use it. I got the 8 for greater flow and the 1.8 was taking away way too much.

Do you tug on it all the time? Lol. It shouldnā€™t break at all unless you are slamming it constantly against something. If itā€™s in a fixed position like on a rig then thereā€™s no way it would break. Even if you have a pull around washer, you would just have to put a small plastic ball valve on the line like what comes on the M5 x jet kits to turn it on and off. Or just pull up on the line to disconnect

The nipples break off frequently. I complained enough that they sent me a bag full of stainless steel nipples. Why they donā€™t put them on the injectors to begin with is beyond me. I got a bag of stainless nipples, 6 stainless injectors and 12 rebuild kits for my troubles.

I need to get something higher draw soon, tired of going over a house 2-3 times regardless how fresh my bleach is.

Can I get the stainless nipples when I Order or only when I have issues ?

For whatever reason they donā€™t sell them. I raised cain, explained that I had bought 60 in the past two years and I think I got a care package to shut me up

I was confused for a minute. I asked my wife why she ordered this random stuff and sheā€™s said she didnā€™t. Then I realized the cheer wine sauce and it clicked :joy:
